Not quite what was used in Minority Report though. I believe in that film the "computer" got all it's sensory information w/o being touched, it just followed the fingers in the air. But that's getting way ahead.

Actually, I bet the same technology could be applied to great a Minority Report-like interface. In the film, Tom Cruise put on some kind of touch-sensitive gloves to operate it. So, it's pretty much the same principle.

That's pretty damn cool. I give it 10 years before it becomes really affordable and mainstream.

I like the "mental mouse" concept that they've suggested. Except I don't think people will do brain surgery just to do it, I think they will have to make one that clamps onto your head that you can take off when you're not using it.
