The more I read about this the more I question who in their right mind would not only get in something like that but spend $250k to do it.Yes best case scenario they died a quick death. Worst case is they are alive and running out of oxygen.
Stupid all around. This “sub” was nowhere near safe to go in.

This is my thinking too. They probably lost pressure and imploded, something like that.Consider how deep they are and no backups on board I imagine they are dead
Allegedly a lot of submersibles -- including James Camerons' -- are jerry rigged like that. No thanks.I’m just now reading about it and just in awe. How the hell does something like that just go missing with all the technology we have now?
Hope everyone is found safe.
They can say that, but I've seen submersible passengers on the news lately complaining the industry in general is lax on safety and construction. Maybe this will accident will change that.
Oh at least some hope. Maybe they can be rescued somehow.June 20, 2023 Missing Titanic sub search news (cnn.com)
Banging sounds have been heard so they might still be alive, but they can't have much air left
The idea of it gives me shudders. I'd rather it be a quick drowning than a slow suffocation.Must be horrible to be lost under the ocean in something like that. Unfortunately seems like little chance of survivors.
Anybody celebrating this is a vile human being. The fact that there are folks genuinely happy and celebrating the deaths of these people online is extremely concerning, to say the least. Human loss of life is tragic regardless of one's wealthy status.
