Mission: Impossible 3

It was awesome IN SPITE of that. They made it work and it made the action sequences more kinetic and added more an active viewing and gritty, realistic aspect to the movies.

And once again, superior on every level to the MI movies or Tom Cruise vanity projects as I like to call them.

Nah give up on him. His posts always have a shade of negativity and arrogance.

Honestly. I don't think I have seen one post from him that has been all positive or trying to see someone else viewpoint.

i hear he loves Spidey movies, maybe he's nice in there :D

No he's not. I want to know where the hell that was reported because its not true.
Try imdb.com I know they're not the most reputable, but it's the only news anyone has on the movie, and it's better than nothing.

And Liman DID use hand-held camera and photography for The Bourne Identity, just not as much as Supremacy.
What's your point?

There are only three Ludlum Bourne novels. He didn't write Bourne Legacy.
Hey bro, I don't like to be mean, but for you I can make an exception. Read my posts a little closer before you try to respond to them.

Mission Impossible 1 is over-rated... Brian Depalma makes mediocre movies...

Mission Impossible
Directed by Brian De Palma
Rating: 6.5/10

This film to me had no real substance or character dept. There is nothing here about the main character Ethan Hunt, all of the actors have really nothing to work with and seem to be going through the motions. Brian De Palma's direction is what keeps this movie a float, the thing about Brian De Palma is he's a master at his craft but he hasn't evolved at all in his whole career as a film maker so all his films seem to come off as hollow since there not really dept to them other than fine editing, cinematography, and all the things that make a movie look good(I haven't seen the Untouchables yet). And this movie is no different, the movie visually looks great, the editing is great, the pacing is fine, music is on que, cinematography is great, all the stuff that makes a movie look good is there but there's no heart or soul to this film. The characters are cardboard cut-outs, the movie is far too short which lends itself to an over-simplified script which leads to the waste of Jon Voight, Jean Reno, and Ving Rhames. Like I said the script gives absolutely nothing for the actors to chomp on most of the lines go like "We have to do this and that to get this" to me this movie would of been far better if they had added some character development. Also I like how De Palma tried to keep the mood of the TV show in tact but sometimes it came off way too cheezy. But over-all I have to say the movie is very well made but it has no heart or dept which is what really kills it so it feels very hollow.

Date watched July 9th, 2005

There's a quite a bid of potential in the franchise hopefully MI3 realizes it.

Scarface is over-rated and the original 1933 version with Paul Muni is superior :o

i guess you didnt like mission to mars then? :D

I can't wait to see this, MI 1 was good and MI2 was kind of ok but I'm hoping MI3 will be much better.

I checked IMDB, I don't see anything at all about Liman doing the third movie.

The point is you said there wasn't any.

So were you talking about Ludlum's Bourne series or just Ludlum then?

Hey, most audiences were tough enough to take some shakey cam ;) .

Phillip Seymor Hoffman is in this,he's rumored to play Penguin the Batman Sequel.I saw the trailer and enjoyed it,when Cruise was soaring down from that buliding was awesome. The movie should be good.

there better be a new trailer with the superbowl

Quick question, What is MI3 about? I know Hoffman is in it as the bad guy which is interesting. Both previous movies are good so I know this will be more of the same.

have you seen the trailer?

That's probably one of the end scene.

Isn't there usually a list of the movies that will have Superbowl teasers?
