I agree there,it's a viscous circle,i also agree that JJ can pull it all together,he is talented visually but more importantly he makes characters central as opposed to afterthoughts
The big thing here though is gonna be Hoffman who could lift this to another level IMO with a truly awesome bad guy

yep, he was reeeeeally creepy in the teaser. great an actor as he is, I never thought he could act, look and feel that cool.

seriously, it gave me a real Lecter vibe. depending on the script, Hoffman might just deliver one of the best villains in recent years.

I have been a huge Hoffman fan since Boogie Nights. He has been a great actor for so long I am glad he is finally getting roles that his full potential can be reached.

I hope we get another poster, a final theatrical poster, that has a little more flair to it. Get some of the team on it and show a bit of the action. I get the feeling that selling this movie with Cruise's face is going to be more of a hinderance this go 'round.
