in all seriousness....they should make Board Game: The movie and have it set in an adventure world full of board game elements....Like the snakes and ladders, or falling into wanter and being attcked by Hungry Hungry Hippos....

Is this the genre that will replace comic book films?
I hope so because I'm about sick of guys in tights and capes.

I can only recall one superhero movie where a guy was in tights (spider-man) and one where he wore a cape (superman)....also, if you dont like comic book movies, why are you on a forum about comic book movies?

I would've said Wilford Brimley, but I'd get some esteemed british actor to take on the role. Though what that role would be, I don't know...maybe he's the owner of a giant conglomerate and all his staff are trying to purchase property around the country to get his blessing as the next in line to be CEO or something.

I never said I didn't like comic book movies. I said I'm just about sick of guys in tights and capes and I, for one, am 'down with the sickness.' Uh... Batman wears a cape.

I think you guys are getting a little too goofy about it. Coming up with random board games you know damn well couldn't make movies. Monopoly has always been based in the corporate world, only somewhat exaggerated. It's like people that talk about when movies like Tomb Raider and the upcoming Warcraft..."what's next, Pong the movie?"
