Monsters vs. Aliens

America is indeed the only country that UFO's seem to land in.

here speaks a man who has never seen dr who...in which aliens always invade cardiff...

They're talking real life nuts that talk about seeing alien craft above some farm in that sense. Ya'll tend to turn everything into an alien invasion over there. :oldrazz:

I haven't gotten through the entire thing, but so far I'm tickled by it. Looks really cute.

Did it register for any of you guys that this thing is going to be released in 3D, just like Beowulf? That took this movie from "might see" to "definitely can't miss."

I wonder which will make more; this or Ice Age 3.

having completely forgotten about ice age 3 until it was mentioned there i'm betting this will make more...

ice age 3 left me completely...monsters vs aliens has been at the back of my mind constantly remembering how funny the blue goo guy was...

i base my reason on what one i remembered most and aplied it to the public...

I think I'll go with Monsters over Ice Age. Dreamworks have only had a couple duds. And they've got the better release.

Looks like it will be a cute movie. I am a little disappointed in the monsters though. I actually think it would have been better if they used the classic monters.

Nah! Probably would have taken forever and cost a fortune to gather the rights to the classic monsters.

I think this one looks great. Finally Dreamworks is putting together features that compare well with Pixar.

Disappointed?! At Doctor Cockroach PhD.?!?! Surely you jest.

And between Monsters vs. Aliens and Ice Age 3, I'd go with this any time. Ice Age was never that good (well, except for the little squirrel type thingy).

I'm sure that's true. Still would have been fun to see though.

Oh well, this movie does looks cute though

The New Monsters vs. Aliens Trailer!
Source: DreamWorks Animation
December 23, 2008

The new trailer for DreamWorks Animation's Monsters vs. Aliens is now online. Opening in conventional theaters and IMAX on March 27th, the film reinvents the classic '50s monster movie into an irreverent modern day action comedy.

The cast of Monsters vs. Aliens includes: Reese Witherspoon as Susan Murphy, a.k.a. Ginormica; Hugh Laurie as Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D.; Will Arnett as The Missing Link; Seth Rogen as B.O.B.; Rainn Wilson as Gallaxhar; Stephen Colbert as The President of the United States; Kiefer Sutherland as General W.R. Monger; and Paul Rudd as Susan's boyfriend, Derek.

You can watch the trailer in High Definition Windows Media format here and in Flash format here!

Have to wait till i get home to watch it but so far I like what i've seen. Great cast, cool monsters, nice animation, and a cool premise.

I love the design of the Missing Link. Its very different.

LOL, pretty funny.

Stephen Colbert is basically like President Phil Ken Sebben. Character is like exactly the same as Sebben except for the design.
