Moon Crash Live

im laughing at all the anti bombing the moon people on youtube
they are so ridiculous :hehe:

the moon gets hit by larges rocks all the time

Cause people are ignorant and stuipd. I bet most of those people don't even follow astronomy all that much. All they heard was bomb and planet and they go nuts.

Yes that is the plan. As well as using the Moon as out springboard to Mars if we manage to find enough water there.

*Waits for The Onion's announcement that the moon actually is made of cheese...*

Ah cool, so there taking the whole "lets blow s*** up" thing to a whole other world.

Michael Bay is producing this and in 2012 he's releasing a movie version called THE MOON!

It will star Bruce Willis, Will Smith and Optimus Prime.

Shia LeBeouf will play the aliens (all of them). Their language will consist solely of "No!" vocalized in different pitches, duration and intensity.

Less than 13 hours before we accidentally crack the moon in half and reign down death on destruction on an unsuspecting world.

This whole thing just reminds me of 'The Time Machine'. (And we all remember what happened in that story...they started colonizing the moon, it threw it off alignment and the moon fell from the sky.)

^ exactly what I was thinking about.

Haha, I wasnt thinking this, but i was thinking that some unknown reprocussion from this would end up causing the prophecized 2012 doomsday.

so should I bother going outside to see if I can see a speck of the impact without a microscope or just watch it online?

The original image was 25x25 pixels

Not that I don't enjoy a good explosion, but why not go there and drill for water instead of just chucking **** at it?

MONEY. The cost of shipping a drill and installing it on the Moon is a tad higher than taking a piece of space junk already in space in for a dive of doom!

Hey, we got a countdown!

it's so overcast here ,san antonio texas, theres no point in going outside.

Crystal clear blue sky here, straight up is a good view...no great view of the Moon.

bummer, we would usually have a killer view but alas overcast...suck
