Back then, Game Pass for PC at $1 for 3 months was such a great deal to be honest.

I could try plenty of games in that span. Finished some, dropped some. Games I had liked I eventually bought them on Steam or GOG.

GP can be a good subscription service if the price is fair. In some countries like Brazil, there are no regional pricing from publishers (Steam offers it though but pubs can override) so people in those countries with low/average income get ****ed by the $70-$80 USD price tag games have nowadays.
