Moon Knight

you guys are kidding yourselves if you think this show is going to even survive a season. if blade can't make it, what makes you think this is?!

Um, let's see... maybe, just maybe... because this show more than likely won't be trying way too ****ing hard to live up to Wesley Snipes, and failing misrably?

You know... Just a thought.

It's true that this news isn't a guarantee that MK will ever hit the air.

UPN had plans for a Night Thrasher series a few years back that went as far as casting, (Darius McCrary, formerly Eddie Winslow on Family Matters, was said to be the lead) and it vanished without explanation.

So while we should be excitied, don't be surprised if nothing comes of this.

I'm so psyched about this show. I really hope it makes it. Moon Knight just kicks ass.

at least we' would have a good tv movie of mk via the pilot episode

Please, comic book character + tv = #@!$%#&

I'm sorta glad that this is not going to happen. MK is one of my favoriet heroes and it's hard to do him justice in the small screen. He's incredibly complex and I think we'll need a really good actor to pull it off, and it rarely happens in the small screens.

An animated series would be great though, and if they can find a good actor for Spector, I'd say a film would work better.

Does Moon Knight have any interesting villains in the comics who could be worked into the series?

Bushman is the obvious big villain I'd imagine. Midnight and his son make interesting villains. And they can always work the Committe and Jack Russell into the series, and maybe stained glass Scarlet as well.

One of the better ones, to me, was The Profiler, who appeared in the most recent series. He can see the thoughts and facts of other's lives.

Thats what I thought too.

Maybe that's a good thing. The production company doesn't have the best record in producing these kind of shows.

Though if they can get the current writer Charlie Huston to write a few episode and find a good actor for MK, It'd kick ass.

Shame if it doesnt - they could do the Ultimate version. Ex SEAL works better than a marine anyway, and the internal conversations between the personalities with the mystery of the little girl are intriguing.

What happened to this?

I was looking forward to seeing Moon Knight.

If they did this show, they will ultimize him. And for those saying it can't work, actually it could. Use the profiler as the main villian and give it a BB treatment where it's grinded into reality and it could work. Some of you are saying that Blade was an example of heroes not working on the small screen but that's a bad example. Blade was one of Spike's highest rated shows but it was just the production that cost to much so they had to let it go. I say put this show on Sci-fi(I know, I know but give it a chance) and let it grow from there. If they can make BattleStar Galactica cool again, then this should be relatively simple to do.

yep, the high production cost was what took Blade off Spike. it really sucks that that's the case. I wanted to see what happened since the finale left off on a cliffhanger. Maybe they could give us a dtv to solve the problem.

i would be guessin so. it sucks. i dont kno that much bout MK. But I'd be interested in havin a new superhero show (besides Smallville and Heroes). although, i'd say that Heroes is a good example of a BB treatment. It's sorta grounded in reality bout as best as it could.
