Good to hear but at the same time shame about Injustice 3. I heard part of the reason is that they don’t want to dive into licensed stuff in case a sale is on the cards depending how the merger progresses.
I’d like a fighting-based full campaign game for TMMT.After seeing the Ninja Turtles as bonus characters on Injustice, I was hoping this would eventually lead to Netherealm developing a TMNT fighting game
But I’m always down for more Mortal Kombat
I am also thinking that another video game with an "evil Superman" doesn't really fit where the new regime behind DC wants to take the character of Superman or the DC Universe in general.
Seems a shame if so. Injustice still had a ton of potential to become another permanent fighting game staple. Take Two/Rockstar don’t stop making Red Dead just because GTA destroys everything. Also, MK 11's sales compared to Injustice 2 kind of doomed Injustice 3.
Anyway, Zaslav leaked that MK 12 is coming this fiscal year.

MK 11 sold 15 million copies. While Injustice 2 was a success, all the numbers I've seen makes it incredibly unlikely to have ever approached that number.
Yeah, Ed Boon keeps saying all sort of ****. He's mentioned wanting to something other than a fighting game, tossed out all sort of stuff he's pitched.
I'm not saying Injustice 2 is a failure or is dead. Just that MK 11 is a better seller.
