Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

So do I. I spent 3 hours last night just making them. The worse part though is picking all the moves for them. Another thing is if you pick the machine gun, why can't you use the damn thing?

alright guys, I REALLY need your help. I rented it today. i was so excited, brand new disc-no scratches. i put it into my ps2 and the damn thing says "disc error" or something similar to that. is there certain settings i should have under system config. for this game?

Alot of PS2's degraded to the point where they would stop reading discs. Mine got so bad it wouldn't read ANYTHING. If it's out of warrenty I suggest opening it and cleaning the lens. I did this just before I traded mine it, it made it work better then it ever did before. It even played PSX games again. I didn't want to trade it in after that, but i wanted a 360 :yay:

My PS2 got a Disk Read Error last year (about 4 years after I got it). I read online where a number of people had success calling Sony and getting a free repair because of numerous similar complaints (although they act as if they're doing you a favor), so I gave it a shot. I rang them up, they ran me through a quick diagnostic. When that didn't work, they asked for some unit info and told me where to send it. I had my repaired/cleaned unit back in a little over a week. I'd give that a shot before I cracked the console open.

I had to pay $100 to get a new one when mine did the disc read error.

I can never send mine anywhere to get fixed. I might get busted for having something installed in it.

Here is my KAK so far...

The thing is that I actually put in another one of my games, and it read the disc :(

meh, i returned the game for another copy of it, and it worked. It's pretty sweet. just beat noob saibot :)

Okay now this really bothers me. The lineup of opponents in Arcade mode is not random. Its the same exact characters, in the same exact arenas, in the same exact order ALMOST EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! If I have to fight Jarek in the Bell Tower, followed by Rain in Kahn's Arena, followed by Reiko on the Falling Cliffs, followed by Kintaro in the Tekunin Prison one more time - I'm gonna go nuts. With so many characters and arenas to choose from, why are they restricting us to this same damn lineup nearly every time we play the game?

Very good question...one I have been asking myself ever since I bought the game

I haven't had that problem yet. I get random people every time. There are still a lot of people (or creatures) that I haven't fought yet, but I'm still not fighting the same ones over and over again. :venom:

I get different lineups, but the arenas are always the same. Every time.

At first I was getting the same arenas over and over again, but now I'm getting a whole bunch of different arenas and I was always getting different fighters.

Also have arenas such as Meteor Storm, Evil Tower, Fire Well, and Outworld Spire shown up for anyone in Arcade mode? And what exactly was the point of unlocking all of those Konquest arenas if they don't even let you play them? They should have just brought back all the arenas in Deception that had deathtraps.

thats one of the things from the game the frustrates me. i restart arcade mode after the first match cause i already faught them and then i get the same lineup again! it gets really annoying but thats probably the only reason why i started using different characters.

I'll try and take some pics of my KAK's later. I made a bad-ass Nightcrawler! he rules

I just played this last night and I must say that gameplay-wise, it's more fun than the other's. Back to basics. Very simple. Easy to pick up and fun to play. The huge roster and amount of stages only make it better for replay value. Only bummers are the fatalities and lack of real endings imo. I liked going back to look at them.
