That chick is hot.
Haha, I like that fatality. One of the few i dig
well guys, I decided to sit this game out.
I actually went on Youtube and checked out all the Fatalities. Maybe it's because the graphics are so much more realistic, but I actually grew uncomfortable and borderline disgusted watching the finishing moves. Plus, none of them really struck me as cool - idk, they all just seemed too "over the top" like they're trying to be as gory as possible.
Then I watched the endings for all the characters. Some were interesting, some were kind of iffy, but overall it just didn't seem like that good of a payoff.
Plus, I've been reading some of your opinions on the Story mode and how some of you thought it was kind of weak ( or at least the ending ).
So, if I get this, I'll think I'll wait till it goes on sale or until a GOTY or Komplete Edition gets released with all the DLC.
The MK series just hasn't been that appealing or interesting to me since MK 3. I'm more interested in fighting games like Street Fighter and Soul Calibur.
I don't know why you were interested then, because everything you described outside the weak story is pretty much what Mortal Kombat is and has always been.
I just beat the game and I know the ending has been highly criticized but I see nothing wrong with it. In fact, I loved it. Great teaser for the next game. [BLACKOUT]Cassie though being the one to takedown Shinnok was BS. She's a newbie and its hard to beleive she could defeat an elder god on her own without any help.[/BLACKOUT]
I actually don't think the fatalities are that brutal.. The really brutal ones seem more cartoony to me.
I didn't see how it was BS since they set it up with Johnny doing the same thing at he beginning of the game.
I must say, it also didn't feel right watching family members perform fatalities on each other.
anyone else feel that way?
