Mother Chuffing Bioshock.

After reading the vague storyline and the features, it occured to me that this might be one of the best games ever created.

* Take control of your world by hacking mechanical devices, commandeering security turrets and crafting unique items critical to your very survival.

* Upgrade your weapons with ionic gels, explosives and toxins to customize them to the enemy and environment.

* Genetically modify your body through dozens of Plasmid Stations scattered throughout the city, empowering you with fantastic and often grotesque abilities.

* Explore a living world powered by Ecological A.I., where the inhabitants have interesting and consequential relationships with one another that impact your gameplay experience.

* Experience truly next generation graphics that vividly illustrate the forlorn art deco city, highlighted by the most detailed and realistic water effects ever developed in a video game.

* Make meaningful choices and mature decisions, ultimately culminating in the grand question: do you exploit the innocent survivors of Rapture…or save them?

After your plane crashes into icy uncharted waters, you discover a rusted bathysphere and descend into Rapture, a city hidden beneath the sea. Constructed as an idealistic society for a hand picked group of scientists, artists and industrialists, the idealism is no more. Now the city is littered with corpses, wildly powerful guardians roam the corridors as little girls loot the dead, and genetically mutated citizens ambush you at every turn. BioShock forces you to question the lengths to which you will go and how much of your humanity you will sacrifice...to save your own life.

Spore has already taken that title.

But yeah, this game looks goddamn amazing.

Best game ever, I can't wait to get it for the PS3,*Flame Shield on!* Anyways I think this game looks sweet, however so many people are saying it will scare the s h i t out of you, I think this game won't. F.E.A.R. and the Suffering are the only games that do that to me.

I really wonder who would handle the port. Irrational will be on to bigger and better things once they're done developing these two versions side by side and maybe the PS3 version will be given to like... Digital Extremes or something? :(

I dunno, I was just trying to be nice, and I do hope Ps3 fans get a version...but let's talk about the 360 version.

Retro-technology stuff FASCINATES me, this is going to be amazing, and it'll have more replay value than a girl with big breasts

Like mutant beyond-breasts breasts on those hideous japanese girls? :D

Mass Effect, Halo 3, MGS4, Zelda and FFXIII are all better. But yeah, looks kickass.

They might as well stop making MGS4 and FFXIII. People are numb by now.

New awesome pictures.

The bloodsplats are a bit questionable. Very spiderwebby.

I WAS THINKING TOO OVER-THE-TOP, AS WELL. NOT TO MENTION, IT'S NOT REALISTIC HOW THE BLOOD EXPLODES OUTWARD FROM THE GUY'S CHEST, FROM A REVOLVER SHOT; IT LOOKS LIKE AN ALIEN IS ERUPTING FROM HIS CHEST OR SOMETHING. I WASN'T EXPECTING CAMPY, 'DEAD RISING' EFFECTS FROM THIS GAME........A BIT DISAPPOINTING. :csad:

I like how Gears of Wars animated blood splats look like thick blobs. But this is too... odd.

I wouldn't say it's a campy effect, but it definitely clashes with the realism of this game.

THAT'S WHAT I MEAN.......CAMPY, IN RELATION TO THE REST OF THE GAME. THIS GAME SHOULD HAVE BLOOD LIKE WE SAW WITH 'SC: DA'.....NOT 'GEARS' OR 'DR'.

BEST. BLOOD. EVER.

Maybe it will change. It all depends on what the playtesters think. I'm trying to imagine Deus Ex with gushing blood, but I kind of can't...

That may just have to do with the horrible graphics though. :D

I wish Junction Point would just update Deus Ex :(

Anyways, I think the blood looks fine. Stuff like that needs to be seen in motion to be judged properly.

Which is a good thing, since this is the type of game Jesus would want you to play.

Anyone who isn't looking forward to this game isn't a good person.
