I know, I know, the....person in question was defending himself against a hungry Mountain Lion. Nothing too wrong with that...but, not the question I am asking of course.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31951883/ns/us_news-life/?GT1=43001

The attack occurred Sunday evening. Wildlife agents shot and killed the lion Monday after it attacked a dog brought in to track the animal.

Damn to hell....I wanted to poll.

POLL

Shouldn't the Lion had been taken alive? To a zoo? It was hungry after all for crying out loud, of course it's gonna attack humans. Nothing wrong with that, it's basic instinct.
Yes or No?

Let it live in your backyard then.

No, no, no, no...don't have the fence for a mountain lion, and it could jump over 6 feet probably.

Wait...if a Mountain Lion ate a zombie, would it turn into a zombie Mountain Lion? Being serious here.

Depends on what type of infection it is. If it is a human/primate specific virus like HIV and only affects humans then we would be safe. If animals could get infected, then we are screwed.

Like in Resident Evil 5 (or any of those games really).

That would suck....be no human race. Zombies +infected zombie animals that can run = Human Surviving Fail.

This reminds me of South Park's Critter Christmas.

They were out to rape and kill...much much worse.

I was hoping someone had beat it to death with a shovel in their garden.

I'm hungry too, let me go rob a Subway, it's basic instinct.

Any animal that stalks and kills a human is dangerous since once they've learned that humans are easy to kill (and boy are we easy to kill) they'll hunt nothing else. Now, I would say that this is a good thing in the long run, but it's understandable why they would kill it.

:wow: I'm going to have to improve on my zombie fighting skills . I didn't factor in the ravenous mountain lions. Also learned the boomstick will work better than a chainsaw.

The real question is: if you know how to fight a zombie mountain lion, could you fight a zombie puma, or a zombie cougar? What about a zombie Florida panther?

:oldrazz:

Most zombie strains seem to effect only humans. Some mutations include birds, dogs, and primates, but nothing else thus far.

At least, that's what I can tell from all the extensive research in my basement.:o

I would assume that swine and rats would also be affected since they are fairly close to humans physiologically speaking. Also, consider insect vectors as a factor in the spread of a zombie plague.

Yes, yes. I forgot.

Wear mucho mosquito repellant when the dead walk the earth. Nothing sucks worse than getting the urge to munch on some brain, thanks to a damn bug bite.

You guys are missing the best part of the story, this dude fought a mountain lion with a chainsaw.

To be honest, that's not that cool. Now, if the mountain lion pulled out his own chainsaw and they had a swordfight with them then it'd be cool.

This thread would have been far more interesting with what I originally thought it said. :o

''Mountain Dew Killed."

Taco Bell would be better, then agian it's 79 cent, 89 cent, and 99 cent menu is affordable even for jobless people or bums.

That's so awesome my head almost imploded into itself....

I'm also assuming that the typical swordfighting cliches are included, especially the fight up the flight of stairs, just so the awesomeness exceeds all expectations. Every good swordfight needs a stair part.

Then that would include the Chimps also.

Not every sword fight, but it makes it more exciting, so yes.

Thus I agreed that primates, canines, avians, swine and certain rodents would likely be affected by a zombie plague.
