I was going to put this into the gaming section, but my god, this is something everyone needs to see.:wow:

I'd rather use a controller

I didn't like it with the Wii and I don't like it here

Controllers > No Controllers

Atari, Nintendo, Super NES, Sega and Playstation 1

only systems I'll EVER need

It has potential but I will wait patiently to see how well it actually works, and how well developers utilize it

Looks amazing, but I have serious doubts that it will be that responsive and will work as flawlessly as that video shows. I'd wager that some of what they showed (i.e. the scanning of your own stuff) will be limited or not even available when it comes out. The Wii controllers aren't even that responsive...I doubt this will be any better.

This is like the "Yard Work Simulator" from THE SIMPSONS.

What's the point in playing video games without a controller?

If you're going to get exercise, go get exercise.

This will be big until someone hurts themselves and sues, or until someone can't disconnect from their round of Grand Theft Auto.

Everyone said the same thing about the Wii. I think it could be an Epic Win for Microsoft, sure there's bound to be hiccups, but this technology already exists, X-Box is just taking it to the next level. PS2 had a camera that responded to you're movements, EndWar showed voice recognition software works. Microsoft's trying to convert those casual gamers that bought a Wii to get an X-Box while making sure to keep their hardcore base. X-Box is also expanding on what Sony started making X-Box the one thing in your living room, first with Netflix, now Facebook and Twitter. Microsoft knows what it's doing. I hope Sony and Nintendo have something big planned to show.

Twitter on my 360? No thank you...

I hate Twitter on the computer, but can't deny some people will be really excited for that, Microsoft is trying to do what Sony did, be the one box in the living room for all your entertainment needs.

Looks cool. Our X-Box rep at work was telling me about this. She also says to look for a new system in 2011. The new system will have a blu-ray player. But she also says that X-Box is planing a patch to make your current system play blu-rays.

Sony should be worried.

Isn't Blu-Ray a Sony developed technology? I doubt they'd let Microsoft have that, it's pretty much all Sony has left.

I can do all that stuff already.

It's called "imagination." Pretty wild, huh? :whatever:

I think this Project Natal shows alot of promise, and if it can deliver the goods like in the video, then I'll be getting one when it comes out. Btw, I also have a Wii but this looks to take it to the next level.

that family looks happy. Forget the video games...I want that family.

Yea pretty much, but an expansion of the Blu-Ray market only helps Sony financially

Um yeah, that's ********. First of all, a simple patch is not going to allow you to play Blu-Ray on a DVD drive.

It's not like you haven't been wrong before.

:whatever:

hung up on something from the past?

grow up
