Movember/No Shave November

I think the goatee without a mustache is the ugliest look in regards to facial hair. Nobody looks good with that.

I've got a goatee and girls tell me not to shave it because it looks cute.

I tried this once in college, and will never do it again. Once my beard gets to a certain length, it looks very much like pubic hair. It's curly, unmanageable, and just overall unattractive. I look like a piece of ****.

I trim mine with head shavers sometimes and it winds up not itching and looking decent. I don't like mustaches and for some reason can't grow a beard , so if I don't shave everything except for the goatee it looks like crap.

Don't get me wrong. I have a beard. I just have to keep it trimmed to a certain length. I don't usually have an itching problem (even when it's long). It just looks terrible.

Sometimes I'll sport a goatee, but 98% if the time I'm rocking the beard.

I usually do Facial Hair February since it tends to be more functional when it's colder out.

Well, I haven't shaved since the begining of August. Kind of the norm for me. I was actually going to shave it soon but I can't find my clippers. I love the reasonings in the first post, how this is an "excuse" not to shave, or they didn't do it because their mom didn't like it. You're an adult, do whatever you want with your beard, sheesh.

I shave every day, always have. always will.

I don't get why men have an issue with gray hair. It's distinctive. My college roommate is going gray prematurely. I thought he looked badass, but he always dyed it.

If I went gray at a young age, I'd wear it with pride .
I have a friend who was like 26 while the rest of the people in our group was 22 at the oldest. He gas been increasingly growing grey hairs and hasn't died it, but some of the guys make fun of him because he's already older than all of us and now he's starting to look it too.

I had three day growth after ten hours...

Girls can't grow beards, their opinion is worthless.

Really though, look at this guy and tell me he doesn't look stupid:

I never seen anyone who I thought successfully pulled off that look.

Well he looks kinda goofy for various reasons but mines not as thick/bushy , so maybe that's why I can pull it off.

Yeah I have a goatee and it depends on the person. That guy's face above doesn't work with a goatee.

Not sure about this...

Movember's Other Name "No Shave November" Lets the Ladies Grow, Too
http://www.the33tv.com/about/station/newsteam/kdaf-no-shave-november-story,0,3532600.story

The first of November means the beginning of Movember, every guy's great excuse strut a moustache.

The concept is simple. Mo-bros begin November 1st clean shaven. Then for 30 days, they grow their "mo" and raise awareness and funds for prostate and testicular cancer.

Mo-sistas, on the other hand, have traditionally supported their men, recruited mo-bros and attended Movember events... pretty much everything the guys do except grow.

But since it's commonly being called 'No Shave November' this year, what's to keep women from fully participating?

Carrie Keagen of VH1 tweets: "NO SHAVE NOVEMBER. Who's with me?"

Musician Jamey Jasta said, "Let those legs and pits get crazy ladies!"

Not everyone's a huge fan of it the ladies tossing the razor...

@Mind wrote: "No Shave November equals no date December."

And Diamond Adams said, 'Women you are NOT allowed to participate. That's just not cute.'

Here's what I have to say: men or women, if you or your loved one decides to get involved, I bet it'll grow on you.

I've successfully started Day 4. :word:
I'm already looking pretty shaggy. This could get VERY bad. :awesome:

My beard and stache are growing in quite nicely.

I'm trying to stay strong, but I feel like shaving, even though I've gotten a few compliments on my new look.

11 days in and I got a full beard and stache.

Beard?

BEARD?!?

That wasn't part of the deal! You shave that sucker down to a porno mo' and you do it NOW! :argh:

I wish I could do this. My boss, however, requires all of us to be either clean shaven, or a simple mustache. I don't look good with a mustache, I've tried.

sadly, it would probably take me more then a mouth to grow anything resembling a bread

I only shave like once a week, anyway

Some girl in my spanish class wants to interview me on Monday for an article in the school newspaper. She also said it was going to be videotaped, so now I feel like shaving because I always feel like I look weird with a beard. But some of my female friends have complimented me on my new look. I'm so undecided.

Here's my beard. I've decided to shave it either tonight or tomorrow despite all of the compliments I've been getting.

Not bad, for me my beard grew pretty fast in the first week and now it's slowing down.
