Movies that can only be done justice in the theatre

Every single well photographed film can only be done real justice on a movie theater.

The cinematography really does play a huge part in all of this. A beautifully shot film will never look as good on the small screen whether it's some big action movie or small indie film. I'd actually say a film like Avengers where the cinematography isn't that great works perfectly fine on the smaller screen as it does on the big screen, although the experience in the theatre is obviously more fun.

If you do some searches, you'll see that there actually isnt that large a difference in quality, except for IMAX.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but this was my thinking on the matter long before this thread, due to discussions with people who have a lot of technical knowledge on the matter.
