Screen Rights to Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes Already Locked Up!

Mr. Mercedes, the latest novel by Stephen King, doesn't hit book stores until June 3rd, however, the film rights have already been snatched up, according to Tracking Board.
The site says Temple Hill and Media Rights Capital sealed the deal and Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey have put Jack Bender on directing duties. they're currently seeking a writer to adapt the story. Bowen and Godfrey are also developing a film adaptation of King's Lisey's Story. Their previous credits include the Twilight franchise, the Revenge television series and more.
Bender has done various television shows like Under the Dome (King territory) and Lost, but let's not forget he helmed Child's Play 3 in 1991.
