This is just so sad. The one in Chicago was at Mercy Hospital.

Man I saw the Chicago one on my internet home page but man I didn't known about the other one un till I saw this thread so even more.

And nothing will change. We need to wait and let the families grieve. This isn't the right time to do anything but thoughts and prayers while we politicians wait for the next mass shooting to kick shoot the can down the line until everyone gives up trying to stop gun violence and just accepts it as a daily way of life.

But that is what we can't allow to happen. A college just a few miles from me is currently under lockdown - a man is there with guns, and I have no idea what is happening. This has to stop.

No we shouldn't and we won't. The tide is slowly changing in favor of regulation but it is far too slow for the number of people who die every day.

1 dead, 2 injured in shooting at Riverchase Galleria in Hoover

With all the people that were there, this could have been so much worse. Luckily the only only one dead at this point is the shooter.

Edit: So this story gets worse. The actual shooter is still at large, police shot someone who they say was involved but didnt fire the shots that hit the 18 and 12 year old. I hope surveillance video sorts out what actually happened.
