A simple question, most likely calling for a complicated answer I imagine. When a character is confronted with a multitude of enemies that either match, come close to or were cloned with the DNA of said character, why is it often that the character in question proves victorious.

Actually, forgive me but I must add a sub-question. Also, why is it so necissary to have a villian attain temporary victory, then lose? Wouldn't they take advantage of their position and find someway to deny their enemies' survival? What would you do?

because writers are cheap and bad guys always finish last

yea I never understand why Bond villains can't just shoot him rather than giving a monologue of his scheme.

He is the hero, the hero always wins, he is the one the audience know and love etc. Basically, it's not real, someone wrote it and they wanted them to win.

To make the story seem more interesting, it's not real. In real life, things like this rarely happen.

Villain films are probably the future of comic book movies, if we see any longevity.
