music forums please!!

How many music threads do we have? Compare that to sports threads, then you will have an answer.

 

We didn't need a Celebrities Forum. We didn't need a Sports Forum. Soon, we won't need a community forum because every topic will be separated out.

 

There isn't the demand for a music section and if there was it wouldn't be an entire forum.

The sports sub forum was a good one b/c a lot of ppl like their sport which is a big topic all of it's own with so many different sports and tournements, and the celebrity section means we can keep threads about actresses forgetting their panties and their contraception out of community, leaving community for social topics, news, quirky news and political/religious wars.

A music forum is a bit of a stretch. A music forum with sub forums for each genre? Yeah.........gonna have to pass.

My argument against a book forum is the same as any other.

The point of community was for random stuff such as celebrities and sports, as well as all the stuff HR mentioned in his post. Separating anything out of community is like taking the thumb tacks out of your junk drawer because they "clutter it up". Community is clutter. That's the point.

 

The thing is a lot of the Community posters were sick of the fact that the "brain dead" were taking over and community was saturated with Lohan and Spears threads, plus the sports threads started to grow, so between these 2 the type of social and newsy topics that dominated community prior were getting pushed to page 2 before any discussion got started. So rather than stopping the freedom of those that like the gossip stuff, we gave them their own section and that way both parties were happy.

 

The book forum thing is a joke.
They gave it to us once, but as an april fools joke.

 

let's just clone the setup of the *** boards, I'm sure the mods will love that idea.
