I really enjoy thier new CD. There's a little something on here for everyone. Some Rock, Dance, Techno, Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul. Sadly most of this great music will go over most of America's head. I certainly see it doing better in other countries. What did you guys think?

More club-droning music to listen to while I'm at home, in the car or not throwing a party? I'm going to have to politely decline.

Also, I just have to say when they title it THE E.nergy N.ever D.ies, they're just trying too hard. Just my opinion though.

Boom Boom Pow is an instant classic, I think. I know I'll listen to it a few years from now and really get hooked on it.

aside from Now Generation and One Tribe i like all the tracks on here. the ones that really resonate with me are Rock That Body, Imma Be, Party All the Time, and Electric City. they didn't load their songs with much substance but i've always loved their style. they make bumpin' music and that's always been the key to my musical heart.

Not too many songs I like on this one. I liked Monkey Business alot better.

The BEP are being sued by a band called Freeland. Apparently, the Black Eyed Peas took a song sample from a song called Mancry. According to reports, B.E.P. member and producer Will.I.Am was at an event last year where Freeland performed this song in question.

Here's both songs for comparison:

Is it really that hard for a multi-platinum selling group to get proper clearances before sampling other people's work?!?! And would it really have broken the bank to pay whatever royalties or whatever to this band Freeland? I doubt they'd have demanded that much. Yeesh! It'd be even worse if the BEP song were any good, which it isn't!

A shame, 'cause I actually think the whole album is at the very least okay. Once you accept that it really isn't a hip-hop album, it's got a few enjoyable tracks on it.

The Black Eyed Peas, one of the most successful recording band, will be making a tribute to Michael Jackson at the Isle of MTV concert tonight.

"It will happen, I am hurt by his passing. I was blessed by working with him, becoming a friend, with his family, kids and caretakers," said band member will.i.am.

"It feels good to be here, we did not know there was so much history, pardon my ignorance for not knowing," he added when when asked about Malta. "It's a great place, with great people, and the women are beautiful," he said.

The band reacted to an accusation of plagiarism, with Party All The Time said to have the beginning of Man Cry.

They explained that this was not a case of plagiarism, in that the band's manager had offered them a beat and it was a case of working together.

"It was a lack of finalising legalities before releasing the record, clearance was not done and that was what it was about."

Fair enough. I guess. We'll see how it all plays out.

I like it. I'm obsessed with this song as of right now. :D

I enjoyed the album overall. Not a lot of substance, but it sounded good.

I'll admit that this song has grown on me for whatever reason. Perhaps it's the fact that Ferguson doesn't sound like a total hoodrat as opposed to every other BEP song.

It's the repetition... it's a very addictive song. I love it.

Seems the end really is near if this is true...:o

Fergie is on the verge of leaving the Black Eyed Peas permanently as tension in the band has become intolerable for her, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The band has a full tour schedule for the summer and is planning a tour for early 2011. But Fergie won’t commit for that part of the tour, we learned, and the reason is she’s talking about leaving the band for good. Fergie can’t stand Will.I.Am and that is one of the main reasons she wants to leave the band, a source close to them told RadarOnline.com exclusively. The other reason is she’s decided she wants to have a baby! "She really wants a baby with Josh,” the source said, referring to Fergie’s husband Josh Duhamel. “Between that and the bad blood with Will, it looks like the 2011 tour is in big trouble and she’s saying she’s going to split for good.”

“Fergie is saying she wants out of the band and the second half of the tour isn’t confirmed for early next year,” the source said.

“Things have gotten really bad with Will.i.Am. And it’s not just Fergie who is clashing with him. So is the rest of the band. His ego is out of control.Fergie has kept the news so secret that very few people know and she is not ready to make the announcement right now, the source told RadarOnline.com.
