My 360 wont read my game discs?!?!

I just tried running COD and it wont read it, it keeps saying open tray. I tried closing it and reopening it, but nothing. IDK what to do. Do yall have any suggestions?

Off the xbox and turn it back on

I got it to work. I just kept messing with it for like a half hour and it caught lol. Thx though

I've had this problem a couple times, usually I'll just take the disc out, close the tray, then reopen it and put the disc back in. That usually works.

This is usually a bad sign. I have had this problem twice and both times it stopped reading discs altogether after awhile. If it continues call MS and tell them you have RROD and the will fix it for free(I've done this both times mine stopped reading discs)

ehh mine does this all the time...i just spray it with air duster for like a minute and it works...but your situation might not be a dust problem...could be more serious

If it's with multiple games, then you need to get a DVD/Videogame system cleaner. The type that you stick a disc in and it plays classical music or something.

Did that, and my system started reading again.
