I'm so frustrated! I think my computers hate me today.

First my PC; suddenly the keyboard stops working. Ziiipp! Just like that. So, I'm like 'ookkayy...' and I change the batteries (while the ones I take out were 3/4 full) thinking that would do the trick. It normally does... But not this time! I put in the batteries and connected... well, there's one thing that does work, the calculator and the sound on and off... But nothing else happens... I can't type! Nothing nada! I try to do a system restore... nothing again. And after 15 minutes of frustration I've given up and I try my laptop.

My laptop: I start up the laptop, which of course takes ages. The I go to my e-mail account, I open a message and reply. Then I'm being distracted by my dad saying something. When I look back the laptop doesn't do anything, the screen is frozen and my mouse pointer isn't moving. So yeah, I have to reboot it again. Which takes another age. And also to get IE started...

My laptop works now, but my PC still doesnt.

Now, tell me... do my computers hate me or not?!?!?! :cmad:

It's probably a PEBCAC error.. No worries. ;)

Aw, I'm sorry, Nev.

Well, in all fairness, everything hates you. :p

I keed, I keed! :)

Worst of all is now, if I can't get my computer right, I'll probably have to buy a new one, and I really can't do that right now. I have all my stuff on it, so I have to burn it and/or put it on a memory stick. It's going to be hell....

It's probably a PEBCAC error.. No worries. ;)
A what??

You should get a Mac.

I will second this motion.

You won't get all the annoying freezing and non-working BS that comes with PC. Take it from someone who used PC and Windows for fifteen years. The change is worth it.

If I were you, I'd just shoot first and ask questions later. You don't need to take no crap from no punk ass computer!

I have a Mac and a PC. I find that Macs just come with their own different set of problems.

I have had mine for a year now and I have never run into any problems

Mine is about 5 years old..........

I do have this laptop, so I won't be internetless...

Can't you just pull everything thing off then do a destructive restore and start fresh from the factory presets  That usually fixes stuff...
