My Energy Plan being mentioned in the Wall Street Journal

democrats are not perfect, but they are better. For example, John Kerry wanted it to be federal law that all vehicels must get 35 miles to the gallon or better.

John Kerry supported that because he knew it could never pass. It is called pandering.

They are also corrupt. On energy they take positions that are always slightly better than the republicans, just so they can say they are the party of alternative energy. They don't go any further than slightly better, because they are also corrupt.

Republican politicians are a lot more corrupt than the democrats. That's why they are the party of the rich. I mean when one party supports tax cuts for the rich, and the other one supports raising taxes on rich people, it really doesn't take a genius to know which party is bought off by the rich.

You're sticking to old stereotypes. The "rich" buy both parties. Look at John Kerry and George Bush's campaign donners. Practically any donation over $100 will be made to both campaigns by the same person.

Its already been explained in the other thread why your plan wouldn't work so I'm not going to debate it with you.

yeah yeah, socialist nations go bankrupt. Still haven't heard why it wouldn't work. The only thing standing in the way of this, or something like this is corruption.

But I will leave you to think about this...If your plan is really so perfect...why haven't the countless scientists with multiple doctor degrees who are much smarter than you or I been unable to think of something so seemingly simple that some 25 year old kid thought of while browsing the net?

I'm sure many people have thought of this, but they might not have talked about it, for the same reason I sat on it for a year, without doing anything.

Sometimes smart people also look at something and say "why didn't I think of that before?" Remember I got part of this idea from NASA's X=prize contests. Why didn't NASA think of it before two years ago? They have the world's most brillaint scientists working for them, but they just now thought of it.

Plus I'm just a guy who's obesses with knowing what's going on in the world. I pay attention to scientific discovery and politics. And I thought of multiple things that all come together. Solutions don't just come from smart people. They also come from creative people. 15% of this country has an IQ above my own. That equals 45 million Americans. However most senators, congressman, etc, have advisors with experience in journalism. They are there to advise you on getting elected, raising money etc. And nothing else. Most Senators don't have cabinets and all that to tell them "Hey you should do this, because it will help the country." They just go by whatever the rest of their party is doing.

The last time we had a democrat president my plan was not technologically possible to do either. And this plan was inspired by multiple other plans being done by the government. For all I know Hillary clinton has no idea that the foam cushioning in motor cycle helmets can be used instead of metal to make cars. for all I know she's only heard of energy efficency possiblities that make cars more expensive instead of less. She might not read popular science or discover magazine. If any of her people do, they might be too corrupted to even mention it to her.

I begin college in August. I'll be going for six years studying economics. Then I'm going to be a public finance economist, for the government, while going back to college to study something else, to help me become an advisor someday.

The whole reason I'm going to be an economist is to help build credentials for trying to become an advisor, because you can't just go straight from college to being an advisor. I looked into it.

However it's possible that if after my first two years of college, during which I'll be getting my associates degree, I can then score high enough on the ACT to get a scholarship, I will then study sociology instead of economics, because I think that education would really give me an edge when it comes to political smarts.

But if I'm lucky enough to get that scholarship, I might also instead choose to study journalism, becuase that is what politicians look for the most, when it comes to hiring advisors. Somebody that knows how to communicate with the public.

When I was in college, I made a hash pipe out of an apple.

But seriously - well done, congratulations!

Out of all the people on the internet - your plan just happens to be at the right place at the right time.

Damn.

Let hope your brilliant "Martial Arts Will Save Society" plan doesn't make it past the Hype.
