I've kinda had it with Bruce Campbell.
I've said this before, he has this very uncomfortable "AICN talkbacker" vibe about him that I can't stand, even though it's probably not his fault.

I like the guy, he seems kinda cool.
And I love Evil Dead 2 and Bubba Ho-Tep, but come on....this seems like too much

If you could step outside your little fanboy universe for a second, you'd realize that:

A) No, not everyone loves him. In fact, some people hate him. That's right.

I was about to bring up Bubba Ho-Tep getting a limited theatrical release but you beat me to it. This new movie will probably only get a limited theatrical release also so not everyone who would want to see it in the theater will get to see it in the theater. With this being a very low budget movie it would cost more to advertise that it was coming to theaters than what the actual cost of the movie was.

I could care less if the movie is going to theaters or not...I just hope it's good. Bruce's last couple of movies were horid. Anyone see that redneck insect alien invasion movie he did for sci-fi channel. OMG...that was badddd

I think this movie's release will be very much like Bubba Ho-Tep. It will be released a few places here and there, possibly traveling with horror film festivals or something as a main attraction (I saw Bubba's first showing ever in North Carolina... it was the first, and to this day I believe only, film to ever sell out the bigger theater at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC... which is a freakin huge old-school style theater with balconies and whatnot). The movie will then make some good money on dvd. And that will be that.
