I forgot I wrote this. It's my idea for a Superman pilot I wrote about a year ago. It probably sucks since thats what most of my friends told me. But, I'll embarrase myself yet again.

EXT.-CITYSCAPE-DAY
METROPOLIS is a large metropolitan with heavy traffic and crowded sidewalks. It is Manhattan’s brother. One of the cities most unique architecture is the home base for the Newspaper Corporation, Daily Planet. It is a blend of 1930s structural design with 21st century innovations. The most distinguishing feature is the giant globe with the words “Daily Planet” engraved.
CUT TO:
INT.-DAILY PLANET-DAY
The newsroom is frantic. Every journalist and photographer are in stress, trying to meet their deadlines. In the midst of this chaos a young man with an old-fashioned suit and tie, hat, and glasses walks around, searching for the editor-in-chiefs office. This is Clark Kent.
Clark is very shy and nervous. After a few seconds of contemplating whether or not to ask for directions, he decides to do it. He tabs a reporter on the back.
REPORTER
What do you want?
The man appears angry and frustrated.
CLARK
Um, yeah, I’m, um. . .
REPORTER
Ask already, damn it! I don’t have all day!
CLARK
Well, this place is so big, so I was wondering if
you could direct me to the Mr. White’s office.
REPORTER
Are you blind? Look at that big office over there
with the word’s Editor-in-Chief on it.
The reporter continues his previous duty. Clark walks over to Perry White’s office. The newsroom is indeed big. Over thirty or so reporters with desks and computers occupy this large area. Television sets are located on the top, so they could watch the news channels. Over-looking it all is Perry White through his glass wall.
CUT TO:
INT.-PERRY WHITE’S OFFICE-THAT MOMENT
Perry White is a half-century-old. His hair is snow white from all the stress and over-time. He sits behind his desk proof reading the latest article by Lois Lane.
Lois stands in front of his desk. She is a dark-haired beauty, but tries to be one of the boys with her tough aggression and strong determination. She isn’t a sex pot, although she could be, but is a serious journalist.
Clark knocks on the door. Perry looks up and sees Clark.
PERRY
Walk in, Kent!
Clark walks in.
PERRY (CONT’D)
Lois meet Clark Kent.
Clark walks up to Lois and nervously shakes her hand.
CLARK
Good morning, Miss. . .
LOIS
Lane. Lois Lane.
Clark smiles. Lois doesn’t smile.
PERRY
Lois, this is your new partner.
LOIS
Partner?
PERRY
Yes, Lois, you have a partner now. You’re a great
reporter, but you can’t spell correctly if your life
depended on it. Plus, not only is Clark Kent the
best reporter from Smallville, but he is in ALL
MY YEARS the fastest typist I have EVER MET.
So, take him and Olson with you to the President’s
press conference.
LOIS
Let’s get out of here, Smallville.
Lois walks out of the office. Clark follows her.
CUT TO:
EXT.-AIRPORT RUNWAY-DAY
The press is gathered on the runway, awaiting the arrival of the President of the United States of America. Right on the front of the crowd is Lois, Clark, and Jimmy Olson. Lois stands quietly while Clark and Jimmy get to know each other a little better.
JIMMY
You played football in high school? That’s awesome!
You really are in good shape, Mr. Kent.
CLARK
Well, I try to stay in shape.
Lois looks over at Clark.
LOIS
So, what’s your story, Smallville?
CLARK
What do you mean?
LOIS
How did you become the best reporter in Smallville,
Kansas? You wrote about the crops or something?
CLARK
Well. . .I wrote a story on the Batman of Gotham City.
LOIS
Really? You wrote something on Batman?
CLARK
Yeah, and, um, on the man who flies.
LOIS
The guy who’s faster than a speeding bullet?
More powerful than a locomotive? He’s a
hoax, you know.
CLARK
I will have to disagree with you, Miss Lane.
LOIS
Please, Clark, how many people have seen
this guy? It’s a hoax!
CLARK
Maybe he doesn’t want any publicity.
LOIS
Whatever, Smallville, I’ll believe it when I
see it.
CUT TO:
EXT.-AIR FORCE ONE-DAY
The airplane nears Metropolis International Airport.
CUT TO:
INT.-AIR FORCE ONE-THAT MOMENT
The President, his staffs of advisors, and his campaign manager are preparing for the press conference.
CAMPAIGN MANAGER
According to the polls you’re still ahead of Luthor.
PRESIDENT
Stop trying to cover your tracks. I still can’t believe
you couldn’t get any dirty on Lex Luthor.
CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Luthor has been suspected and accused of various
criminal activities, but none of it has ever been proven.
I’m trying the best I can.
PRESIDENT
Try better, damn it. Lex Luthor is a sneaky
man. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was up
to something right now as we speak.
CUT TO:
INT. UNKNOWN
VOICE
Correct you are, Mr. President.
A hand presses a button.
CUT TO:
EXT.-AIR FORCE ONE-THAT MOMENT
As the airplane approaches Metropolis International Airport an explosion occurs and the airplane loses an engine.
CUT TO:
EXT. RUNWAY
The media stares in disbelief, as Air Force One is about to crash. Many of them begin to run away as they realize its going to crash where they are standing . . .including Clark Kent.
CUT TO:
INT. COCKPIT
Despite losing an engine, the pilot tries to the land the plane as safely as possible.
CUT TO:
EXT. AIR FORCE ONE
A man wearing a red cape and blue tights flies towards the plane. He grabs on to the plane and manages to prevent it from crashing. In a sense, he is the new engine.
CUT TO:
INT. COCKPIT
The pilot and his crew are stunned. They look out the window and cannot believe what they see.
CUT TO:
EXT. RUNWAY
The media is also stunned by what they see, especially Lois Lane.
Thanks to the assistance of the man who can fly, Air Force One lands carefully on the runway. Lois Lane and the rest of the media run towards him. They begin to ask him questions, but instead of answering he flies away.
LOIS
HEY, COME BACK!
CUT TO:
EXT. THE SKY
The man flies through the sky.
CLARK (VO)
This isn’t how I wanted it to occur. I didn’t
want so much publicity. I wonder if my father
ever got this much attention.
