My Tumbler progress

youngbat, hi!

- I think I asked you before, but what are you powering it with?

- I spotted you or your partner being quoted in an article about the cost of being Batman recently.

- When are you going to get some video of it in action, I'd love to hear and see it in action!

EXACTLY!!! MODS, THIS THREAD DOESN'T BELONG HERE!!! PLEASE CLOSE/DELETE/MOVE!!!:cmad:

I still have a ways to go yet, but I am in the home stretch.
That...is...GODLY.

That is futting AMAZING!!!!! Well done!!! You should be really proud...that is a spitting image, and a masterpiece!!!!

You should drive past the cinemas so that everybody coming out after seeing TDK will be mesmerized by you lol.

DUDE could you send me your engine blueprints I've been helping a friend build a tumbler for a good 2 years and alot of the chasis is built but we need to install the engine. you used the same Chevy 5.7-liter V-8 right? or something smaller I'm most interested in getting the sound if I can do that with a smaller engine and save gas so be it but I doubt anything smaller would work to push the thing.

WOW AMAZING words fail me this thing is amazing, really hope you make a good living from making these replicas you really deserve to be making some good dollar from your talent,a bit of topic now but I've seen your site and all the work and suits you've done and I was just wondering what direction would you take batman's suit in,what would you do to improve the tumbler?I figure that out of everyone on these boards you would have the best ideas of how to improve things as you've had the experience of actually making them,I mean from the pictures you would'nt be able to tell that they were'nt the real deal.(btw I think the tumbler they have in the films is perfect but I do think they will modify the suit again in a third)

oh hey, Bob! i check out your website all the time. how come there haven't been many updates?

Whats his website address? Oh and great work to the guy who built that his got mad talent.

once again thanks for all the kind compliments.

brief answers to some questions:

you need an engine with enough torque to turn those 44" superswampers. Definately a V-8

thoughts on future Batsuits: I like the idea of segmented armour, because if there were to be a real batman, he would need ceramic armour protection, but be able to move, so realistically it makes sense. And from a film standpoint, what makes sense in the real world draws us into the film. i.e. a light grey pair of tights would make him a target, offer no protection. a bat emblem with a yellow background would make him a glowing target. Black makes sense. Even the change of voice makes sense, because Batman has to startle, intimidate. Seem almost monsterous.
Batpod makes sense, because it can manuver, wheras a full-size car cannot. But, a car can house a lot of arsenal that a bike cannot.

Bob, I think it is?

Just came across this. Got admit....COOL! Really cool. You're quite a skillful artisan. Good job man!

I believe in giving credit where credit's due.

What type? Have you already dropped it in or are you still looking? This is the stuff that excites me, you know. I'm more interested in performance than looks.

If i was a cop and i saw this thing on the road i would pull you over just so i can say i pulled over batman.
