How'd I wind up on top? Wasn't I way behind?

RM, did you score these people above as right? I'm just wondering if I have to give out *s, or if you've already done it for me.

I also love Video Killed the Radio Star, it was also redone in the 80's by Bruce Woolley & the Camera Club.

And in the 90s by PUSA and, if I'm not mistaken, by Ben Folds (although I'm not sure if he had the other 4 with him :))

I'm just puzzled that you don't have Radio Ga Ga by Queen!!!

Honestly, I never even thought of that one. :(

I tried my best to score it right. However we did lose that week a month or so back, so who knows. Maybe it's just the persistence of your attempts that got you so high up there.

I got three if you guys want to hear them? Of course mine always seem to be too easy.

Since kbomb isn't listed as being on, you may as well go for it. Don't know how many other people are ready to play, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Okay here we go

1)
When I get old and losing my hair,
Many years from now
Will you still be sending me the Valentine,
Birthday greetings, bottle of wine

2)
With her smile as sweet as a warm wind in summer
She's got me flying like a bird in a bright June sky
And then just when she thinks that I've got her number
Brings me down to the ground with her wintry eye
That's my baby

3)
By the last breath of the fourth winds blow
Better raise your ears
The sound of hooves knocks at your door
Lock up your wife and children now
It's time to wield the blade
For now you have got some company

1)
No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the settin' sun
My love will laugh with me before the mornin' comes

2)
At the party she was kindness in the hard crowd.
Consolation for the old wound now forgotten.
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles in her dark eyes.
She's just dressing, goodbye windows, tired starlings.

3)
I've been looking at the sky
'Cause it's gettin' me high
Forget the herse 'cause I never die
I got nine lives
Cat's eyes
Usin' every one of them and running wild

Cats and yellow tigers - hmm... seems extremely feline somehow, but nothing looks too familiar yet.

#3 is

Back in Black - AC/DC

:) I was listening to that about an hour ago... :D

That is correct! :)

I was afraid these might be too easy...

#2 sounds familiar... By Cream?

But I can't think of a title that sounds right with "black" in it....

You are very close... You got the band, Cream is correct. The theme of the set is not just black...

White Room. Which either makes the theme colors or simply black and white.

Assuming you're correct kbomb do you want to do the next set of 3?

Damn you ;)

Since you finished it, do you want to present the next group?
