Nah... It is the scoring system for the game... One point per star.
The game is:

Somebody posts a selection of lyrics (usually a set of 3) which all share a common theme. This last one was "city". The songs were:

1. Summer in the City by the Lovin' Spoonful
2. Hot in the City by Billy Idol
3. New York City Cops by The Strokes

You get 1 star for the band/artist, 1 star for the song name and a bonus star for the theme...
