school is out and it's a sort of a buzz
a back then I didn't really know what it was
but now I see what have of this
the way that people respond to summer madness
the weather is hot and girls are dressing less
and checking out the fellas to tell 'em who's best
riding around in your jeep or your benzos
or in your Nissan stting on lorenzos
back in Philly we be ou in the park
a place called the plateau is where everybody goes
guys out hunting and girls doing likewise
honking at the honey in front of you with the light eyes
she turn around to see what you beeping at
it's like the summers a natural afradesiac
and with a pen and pad I compose this rhyme
to hit you and get you equipped for the _________

3
Where is the love,
The love I need to set me free?
And how can I escape
This gloom that is swallowing me?

3... Black Summer Rain by Eric Clapton

Here's a new set:

1. If you don't like
What you got
Why don't you change it
If your world is all screwed up
Rearrange it

2. The sirens are screaming, and the fires are howling
Way down in the valley tonight.
There's a man in the shadows with a gun in his eye
And a blade shining oh so bright.
There's evil in the air and there's thunder in the sky,
And a killer's on the bloodshot streets.
And down in the tunnels where the deadly are rising
Oh, I swear I saw a young boy down in the gutter
He was starting to foam in the heat.

3. They cry in dark,
so you can't see their tears.
They hide in the light,
so you can't see their fears.
Forgive and forget,
all the while
Love and pain become one and the same
in the eyes of a wounded child.

2.... Meatloaf, but is it Bat Out Of Hell???

You've solved #2.

More of the remaining songs for the theme. The chorus for song 1 is the same four words repeated 9 times.

1. If you don't like what you see
Why don't you fight it
If you know there's something wrong
Why don't you right it

3. Because _._._._, - _._._._ - _._ - _._._ - _._._._._._._._!
And you know that their little lives can become such a mess
_._._._, - _._._._ - _._ - _._._ - _._._._._._._._,
and you shouldn't have to pay for your love
with your bones and your flesh

3) Hell is for Children - Pat Benatar

This is the right answer and you got the theme too.

1) Highway to Hell -or- Hell's Bells - AC/DC ??

A little more of the song...

1. In the end it comes down to your thinking
And there's really nobody to blame
When it feels like your ship is sinking
And you're too tired to play the game

Nobody's going to help you
You've just got to stand up alone
And dig in your heels
And see how it feels
To _._._._._ - _ - _._._._._._ - _._._._ of your own

Gee whizz. This is a blast from the past

Trooper... Raise a little Hell.

:D

Ok... I assume that Raise a little hell is correct so how about these 3... There is a common theme, not necessarily the same word(s) in the song titles/artists though ;)

1. Six of the best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
You need to confess

2. I don't care 'cause I'm not there
And I don't care if I'm here tomorrow
Again and again I've taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much

3. What if all these fantasies
Come falling around
Now I've said
Too much

Weren't all those songs a nice blast from the past? It was a HELL of a time, wasn't it.

Pat Benatar still rules as far as I'm concerned... man can she sing or what? And her Husband/Lead guitarist is excellent as well.

Indeed :D

It has inspired me to put on some classic rock... AC/DC let there be rock is in my cd tray right now ;)

I can't help but agree. She's one of the artists that I have a "Best of" CD for. (I also have Meatloaf's and Trooper's "Best of" CDs) She did some amazing tunes.

Do you need any more clues for my 3? Or shall I give you some more time?
