I bought and enjoyed the first game, but it did have issues. Them adding online play fixes my first major issue. If they improve the exploring feature my second biggest gripe will be fixed. Past that the first game was gorgeous, best cell shading graphics period (IMO). The fighting and overall gameplay was good too. I also loved the camera angle (which combined with the graphics would lend itself awesomely to an 3rd person action game).

I'll be buying this. I sold the first game while it was still worth something when I heard this was coming out.

I loved the first game. I did find the way it progressed annoying though. doing missions to do story missions really bugged me. but all in all this looks interesting.

I heard about this a couple of weeks ago. I can'wait for this game! They do need to fix a couple of things though:

- online option
- better gameplay, the characters should be able to do multiple jutsu's. You really think Itachi would use only one jutsu in a fight?
- more stages
- more characters

I wonder how far the story mode will go, though, since Shippuden isn't over.
I hope we get at least until when Pain attacks Konoha, but the anime didn't get there yet.

The game looks awesome.

Well, this game is supposed to be released in november so there is plenty of time left for the anime to reach the Pain attacks Konoha arc. Also, Sasuke is wearing his akatsuki robe so the story will go at least as far as Sasuke vs the Eight tails.

And the Sennin mode!

I hope that means we'll get to fight Pain with Naruto in the Konoha Destruction arc.

Wikipedia says we'll have giant boss battles.
Just imagine the boss battle with Jiraya against Pain and all the summoned monsters using Jiraya's summoned toad. It must be a blast.

Yeah, the first game had giant boss battles as well, and they were pretty amazing. Like against Gama...the boss frog (always forget his name lol). You used a combo or ranged and close attacks, and as the fight progressed you'd do QTE's and get treated to a visual treat. This all being done with the 3rd person engine made it that much sweeter.

A lot of decent big boss battles can come from this. Gaara protecting the sand village from Deidara (not a HUGE boss battle, but Deidara flying around on his bird could be somewhat similar). Naruto vs. Orochimaru (they could always improvise and instead of him spitting out a wall of snakes, maybe he summons something big). Jiraiya vs. Pein, and then Pein vs. Naruto.

The new Trailer looks great. I wonder if some of the older characters will return or if this is mainly focusing on Shippuuden. I was disappointed that Zabuza and Haku were missing in the first game. They weren't even added as assists. I fear they will be left out again in the 2nd game.

I still don't get why they were left out.
They were the first ''bosses'' of the Naruto story, and Zabuza is just so cool.

I just hope Madara will be a playable character. Those assists were useless,. They should only add characters if they're playable.

One of the scans says that all of the Akatsuki members will be there.
I hope Madara has some great jutsus.

See, now that's what I'm talking about. I already knew about online, but they also extended it past the Konoha. So my 2 biggest complaints about the first title are fixed, and everything else has been extended to epic proportions.

It's not even that Konoha was bad in the first game, it was just a limited hub. You saw all of these Naruto characters standing around, familiar Naruto settings, but that's it's. There was little exploring, and everything was kinda flat. You could jump on top of buildings, and run in down the streets, but little else. This time around they showed what looked like co-op running through a forrest and a desert.

This game is really shaping up. Unlike Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 which the trailer made look exactly like the first game. On that I bought the first, will skip the second, and probably wait for a 3rd ultimate version that has every character in it. With this series Ninja Storm, the first game was excellent, the second looks better, and no doubt a finalized ultimate version will be released when Naruto finally ends in the manga. I'll probably end up buying all 3 because they all look quality.

Now if Bleach could come out with a game like this, and FMA and One Piece could put out a good 3D action adventure game with this style of graphics I'd be one happy gamer.
