NATALIE PORTMAN is Thor!

Looks like the training regiment did pay some dividends. She looks toned and strong.

Holy crap, Natalie! I thought you were serious, I didn’t know you were that serious! You didn’t have to go that far, but you did, and were all the happier for it! I mean, good lord! :funny:

Like I said in the Tessa Thompson thread, she’s on that special super soldier workout regiment or something.

What can I say? I appreciate physically strong women.

I would pay good money for Natalie to beat the cr*p out of me.

I mean, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to be on that train as well.:funny:

Though, I’d probably actually wouldn’t physically want that to happen, with my bad back and all, but I can still dream. :cwink:

Natalie Portman always works, but Natalie Portman with Muscles is on the level of "please ma'am choke me with your arms". XD

She really worked hard on those arms, but i think you notice it more when one has normally a rather slim and petite body.
There you notice it a lot more when they suddenly bulk up.

Cant wait to see her in Thor Costume.

Natalie Portman needs to make a sequel to Black Swan right now with that physique!

I didn't think Natalie would do that much with her physique, especially since she's really small normally, but I'm impressed. She's done a great job and she looks really different.

She did get in good shape
Hopefully she puts as much work and dedication into the whole ‘acting’ part of it this time

Maybe Natalie could take part in some bodybuilding competitions if she gets ripped enough.

I'm really impressed she took the physical side so seriously. Maybe she is really up for this role compared to what we saw in the earlier films and we'll get the best of Portman this time.

Oh my. Natalie looks shredded! Look at those guns. :hrt:

Props for Natalie Portman commitment in traveling to Australia months in advance to work on her physique for TLT.

That in itself should be pretty self explanatory regarding the dedication to her comeback role as Jane Foster aka Mighty Thor. While her role in previous installments wasn’t that great I do think that she wants to succeed and show what’s she’s really capable of, given the right platform and material to work with.

Oh wow, Natalie got pretty jacked! She looks great. And looks like she can kick some serious ass :wow:

While i think that NP's Jane Foster was kind of a bland presence in both Thor 1 and 2 i do think that she's in good hands with Taika and i feel that she's going to really shine in TLT, specially taking into account the material given to work with.

Taika normally manages to bring good performances from female cast members. For example in Ragnarok Hela and Valkyrie where both great in their own right. In Jojo, Scarlett Johansson and Thomasin Mckenzie also shined. Even Rachel House and "Bella" where solid good characters in Hunt For The Wilderpeople.

So there's precedent here for things to work out for the best. In TLT Taika will need to juggle a new and revamped version of Jane Foster, Valkyrie's royal return and Sif's comeback. Not an easy task but the precedent set before by Taika gives me confidence they will succeed.

I was thinking of Black Swan and how skinny her arms where then when seeing these pictures. She is joining the Bale-Lewis School of body transformations for roles.

We need Natalie as a body building ballet dancer!!

Going to be a crazy day when we see what she looks like in the Thor getup.
I think so too. That and when we get the first glimpse at Bale 's Gorr.
Those 2 things will probably break the internet.

Yeah, I really can’t picture how a live action Gorr will look! It’s going to be so exciting if they can nail Natalie’s look. She’s certainly done her part. I can’t believe the shape she got into.
