It's quite funny how Tom got bit hard with the Liz love bug. :funny:

*srarts singing The Spy who Loved Me* :p

LOL no. :p And I can't blame Liz too. I mean... look at this :ninja: :hrt:

Well I am guessing that Red has faked his death after his play with Jasper backfired, I was intrigued about how Cruz was significant to Red in any way and then his weird old biddy cleaner popped up at the end to recruit the mother of all black widows.

The stuff with Liz and Tom was great, I think what they have done with them has actually livened up the second half of the season and added a new dimension.

Opinions

Do we have to wait till series to learn the Lizzy-Red truth

Is the producers plan for 5 years or 7

I think Red is Lizzy's uncle with her mother being a sister possibly twin.

Why has she never done a DNA swab??

I've spent two days catching up and just finished the 'Tom Keen' episode. I've been digging everything about it so far. No complaints from me.

Megan Boone has improved so much since Season 1.

Was that Mia Maestro playing Cruz? She's stunning. I'm guessing Red needed to frame somebody/something? Maybe Red's death or something involving an identity.

You got me wondering so I did a quick check, it was an actress called Ana de la Reguera.

Wow, I was almost sure it was her. They could pass as sisters! :wow:

New Promo for Episode 19

That was a great episode last night, with good acting all around. I loved that the finally addressed the Tom/Red meeting at the hospital back in season 1,that shootout scene towards the end was excellent.

Also somebody should tell Tom to get that SS tattoo removed, considering his cover is blown.

Oh, c'mon! The only pic of what I assume is of a young Liz and her mother has a huge sun glare completely obscuring her mother's face!? Other than that, it was a good episode. Mr. Kaplan was awesome in this episode.

The guy who plays the director of the CIA always seems to be playing the director of the CIA,Also did anyone else notice the resemblance between Leonard Caul and Gene Hackmans character from Enemy of the State?

This episode was awesome. The siege was tense and Liz dropping the Fulcrum like she was dropping the mic was brilliant.

The Attorney General twist you could see coming a mile off although it was a rewarding payoff.

Yep :funny:

David Strathairn was born to play shady secret government types going from the Bourne movies The Blacklist

So why did they hide Liz's mom in the photo ? Is she someone we already know in the show ?

Indeed, she is. I hope we see a flashback on why she's that close with Red like how they showed Dembe's origins.

Speaking of Dembe... Did you guys see the preview? Noo.... :argh:

The "reveal" part was so hilarious. The way they're hiding who he is at first AS IF the audience didn't see it coming 10 million episodes ago!

Mostly likely a fake out. Why else show the Mossad chick as a traitor who supposedly kills him? If it isn't.... :cmad::cmad::cmad::cmad::cmad:

The actor who plays Dembe also signed on as a regular for season 3, so I'm not too worried

Good ep this week, I like the tight self contained eps like that, and no big surprise that smug face turned out to be a heel, that guy practically slithers into a scene.

Red telling Liz about Tom switching to Berlyn so he could be with her and protect himself from Red was interesting. When Tom was initially revealed he was callous towards Liz and a redemption story didn't seem on the cards, but they are clearly changing course with the last few eps. Last week Tom was off to buy a fishing boat but Liz throws him a lil' sugar and this week he's still around and putting his life on the line to protect Red for her. :D

Liz confronting the Director of the CIA and hitting him the Fulcrum to stop the siege was awesome. I liked the oldschool spy feel to the scene where the Fulcrum was opened and I hope Leonard Caul sticks around

I've been thinking the same thing, it's distracting.

Plus he's hit in the shoulder and wearing a jacket most likely with body armor underneath.

the final episode title of season 2 is

[BLACKOUT]''Masha Rostova''
If you recall in the flashbacks with Lizzie and the little girl in the closet earlier in season 2, Lizzie's subconscious refers to Lizzie as as ''Masha'', as well as the woman outside of the closet mentions the name ''Masha''

Just tell Liz the truth Red! :argh: Honestly it's trying my patience the way they keep stringing this along, there's no way that whatever he finally comes out with will justify all of the secrecy IMO.

The body smuggler stuff was pretty good, can't say if that particular part of Chinese culture is accurate but it was intriguing and played into setting up a new assassin who seems to be coming for Liz next week.

Red gave The director some lounge. :oldrazz: :csad:

I think the strongest aspect of the second half of the season has been the retooling of Tom and how he is interacting with Liz. I know it's seen Ressler's role diminish somewhat but I like how Megan and Ryan play off each other, wet rain hug ftw. :O :D
