So was Tom working for Redington? But that doesn't make sense, especially with that scene above where it was a private conversation and they didn't seem to know each other.
Perlman will appear as Luther Braxton, a meticulous thief who plans his international heists over the course of several months or years. The ruthless baddie creates great diversions and chaos to get what he wants — that is, until he faces off with Red Reddington
I'll watch Perlman in anything.
So why is the Blacklist taking a break now? It's still only mid November. When is it meant to come back?
I had no intention of watching this at all, had not even seen the trailer (thankfully so, it showed WAY too much) but our own dear ComicChick said it was worth checking out.
I LOVED IT TO IDDY BIDDY BITS! This was high concept done right, with crisp pacing, plot and dialog. I was afraid I would find too much fault with the female lead but she was great, showing intelligence, resolve, steel and vulnerability. If the writing of her character is consistent this could be a star making role.
I hope Joe C. can come back for important episodes to direct. This was so well done all around. It pains me to say it, but this primeire blew SHIELD out of the water quality wise overall.
Spader... Well I can't add more praise than what most have already heaped on him. Again, if they can keep the writing consistent, then Spader is going to knock it out the park each week, based on what he did in the pilot.
I do share the hope that the connection that Keen and Red seem to have should not be a familial one just because it is obvious and something we the audience have seen before. From what I've seen so far it looks like I will be sticking around to find out though.
I just guess they gonna completely ignore this scene from season 1

Do we know who did the song? The show needed that episode, not only was it a kick-ass Die Hard style actioner, but it felt like a bit of a mini reset with a new threat and a new objective in the Fulcrum list, plus the promo for Thursday's ep seems like we'll finally get some details on why Red cares about Liz and what actually happened on the Christmas Eve in 1990.
That song playing as Red mopped up the bad guys in the prison was great, Joe Carnahan always delivers when he directs an ep, and The Pearl was awesome, I hope Luther sticks around for the rest of the season.
