Nearly finished

the machine gun in the long part will be inside as will the rocket launcher, i planned on the left side of the cross having a sliding out drawer that houses some airsoft guns (automatics). The gun will sound like a machine gun but no projectiles of course. Have any of you been to a cosplay or anime convention? i was wondering if this would be admitted inside or not?

undoubtedly. I have seen many pictures of cosplayers going as Nicholas carrying their homemade crosses, yours will undoubtedly be the most advanced and wellmade, though. But, yeah, cosplayers pretty much carry anything they want to cons. Swords, guns, everything

hey, does anyone know about the legality of me carrying the gunblade around in it's case? I'm not gonna carry it like everyday, but I was gonna take it to show it to a few friends when I got it. Is it illegal to carry? I mean, it is a plastic replica, I doubt I could really do more damage with it then, say, a baseball bat or a pool cue, which would be ok to carry, though suspiscious. I live in philadelphia, any law expoerts wanna check on taht for me?

naw dude,
just say that your going to a model making contest, and this is your blue ribbon winner. Thats what I did when the cops found one of my fantasy anime knives in my backpack.

Hey There Amazing
Just wondering how much exstra it would cost to
ship to australia
Thanks Keep up the good work

I would have to crap my pants if I ever obtained a real Cross Punisher.

I have no idea what the shipping to Australia would be. sorry.
:(

The punisher cross is going to be quite a project, but since it is a one-off it will be challenging, (that means you cant throw out your mistakes).

Thats a good question. I dont have any finished at this time (awaiting materials for casting. But when it is completed i will let you know. Im thinking 40-50$

To answer the first question the gunblade is 36" the dock ock arm is about the same length. and Im when fully aroused about 9 and 1/2 inches.

How heavy is the gunblade?

has anyone thought about making a robin utility belt, or a nightwing utility gauntlet?

Some projects:

After some quick sketches (and alot of cursing) I find a likeable Riddler cane head.

Print the paper out, glue it on some foamboard and follow the pattern. I already have a ball and the bottom grip portion from wood.

Now the fun part! Sanding until your lungs bleed pink.

heres some gunblades ready for packaging to happy E-bay customers. (Can you believe ive sold 9 of these things so far?) before the project i had never heard of Final Fantasy (except the movie) and turns out everyone else on the planet had.

You're also gong to get some major mileage out of that Wolfwood Cross you're making. There's many anime fans who'd love to own that. Making more FF paraphernelia is another sure bet (Cloud's sword comes to mind).

Most know exactly what it is, or what its supposed to be I suppose. Alot of questions are whether the web picture that is actualy a digital creation not a prop is the same gun. There was another gunblade on ebay the same time as mine but was not as accurate IMO He was asking 400. That might have helped me too.

well, what was his made out of?

have you definitely made a profit from this, SK? If so, I'm very happy to have helped

his was made of wood and fiberglass (no lion on the blade either)
I liked the way he handled the handle but the body of the gun was wrong
and yes it has been a profitable venture

Original materials and molds: $185.00
9 kits (less materials) $865.00
Give or take a few bucks $780.00
Not bad for a months work LOL

and I guarentee you'll sell them all year long, too

Vash's gun, which we've also mentioned, is also completely unavailable in the states. the replica they made in japan was a WORKING replica, I've discovered, which blows me away, it is so cool. But I feel cofident you could sell a boatload of those, as well
