Nearly finished

Here is a shot of the gun in the first of many coats of paint. this one will be baked one so i can rub the "blueing" off the top to reveal a mettalic color underneath. I wish i could take more time with the piece. The hammer and trigger both need reworked and improved on. I think it will be a passable piece but could still use some refining.

She is a step daughter. I am 33 she is 21 (my wife is older then me)

Why, Might I Ask, Do You Inquire About My Sheets?

some "weathering" along the side rail and barrel

Its starting to come together. If this turns out ok I might just keep it.

:)

just kidding :hellboy:

Again, beautiful. Let me know the final tally so I can send to you to expedite shipping.

Bounce

Bounce do you have a belt buckle for your costume? if not i can cut you some vinyl. I have a full sheet of BPRD stickers you can have if you want them. PM me your address so my wife can get this thing to ups

I wonder how big a whole would be, If you could fire that gun!

Looks great, I like that weathering look.

I am finishing up the resin on the handle tonight and the shells. The one thing the gun is missing is the leather tether on the handle. Im sure you can add it later bounce. Unless you had this gun in a vise, it would be un-shootable. The shells are bigger then a 60 caliber (although shorter) I think with the proportions it would tumble instead of rifle

I would love to have a goblin glider just need some money first, how much are you selling it for? if you are even selling it that is

The finished shots. I took some liberties with the display stand. I dont know if
you can read the plaque it reads: Property of the BPRD "The Samaritan"

In order to get this finished on time i had to make the cylinder stationary. But as you can see everything else follows the model pretty close.

(psst, the line is, "Let me go in and say hi.")

absolutely gorgeous, SK!

(can I have one? :big blue doe eyes: )

Turns out this one is a "one of a kind" I tore one of the two molds extracting Bounces'

Did you mean the gun or my wifes girlfriend Eli?

I like it.
Shame you wasted a mold on it though.

U made a Batman '89 Bob Ringwood batarang once right?
I think I saw it around somewhere in your pics. Could u post some good pics of that one?

Good deal. Paypal sent today. I don't know anything about casting, but couldn't you cast a piece with the existing mold and then make a new mold from that casted piece? Or are they not identical. It seems such a shame to not be able to make more of these.

Bounce

Take a look at the final pic i posted on the podium the batarang is in the background. Its the one with the TV screeen and nintendo looking controls on it.

No im afraid the Samaritan is a done deal. Its ok, the original is in the hands of a true fan so I am happy. I sold my gunblade molds to somone on another board so I am clearing out some space anyway.

Eli I do have a bit of good news for you if you are interested. I am expecting some latex later this week and will attempt to cast The Infiniti gauntlet of Thanos. (full size) with (or without) light up infinity gems. This one is for my personal collection but depending on how it works out I might let a few go for a reasonable price (you know me) Ill post some pics after I pull the first one.

planning on making it a wearable item or a solid object?

It will be wearable. Soft latex to simulate leather, The inside will be partially filled
with soft foam (like the hulk hands)

but it won't be a glove, will it, with movable fingers? just an empty chamber big enough for your hand, right? too bad

I dont think you will be able to close the glove like a fist because of the size. But you can "wear" it with your hand inside. I sculpted the hand as if Thanos was wearing it so it is in what you might consider a "dynamic pose"

Bounce: your package is in the mail. Im sure it will arrive in one piece but you should use caution when "using" it. It can break if handled roughly. I would try not to do any quick draws or bash anyone with the butt. I hope you plan on posting pics when you get the costume together
