the piece will look like brushed aluminum. Chrome looks too plastic in my opinion. I like the font from the shocker bust I will try and copy that

I stopped by my buddies shop that is machining my wolvie claws. These suckers are made from aircraft aluminum, polished like friggen mirrors and sharp as razors. I am debating if I should add bones to the inner arm at the end or make it appear as if just muscle pulls it forward.

Eli, the same guy is making me the mechanism for the Vash Stampede we started so long ago. I realized the entire piece cannot be made from resin so he is making the guts of the revolver in low melt metal. (lead) The rest of the pieces are constructed but no molds yet. Would you still be interested in one if I pull a few?

Not the cross. Its a pistol with a square barrel and breaks in the middle like the samaritan. Its called a stampede. the character is Vash I think its from Tri-gun maybe thats not the same genre as wolfswood and the gunblade. I cant keep up with these things

Wolfwood's cross is from a character named Wolfwood from the series Vash the Stampede. So Vash's pistol is from the same show that the cross is on.

huh, I didn't recall us discussing one of those. I knew we discussed the cross

I bought a resin model of the gun, but it came disassembled, and the guy who was supposed to paint it disappeared on me with the peices. If you come up a good concept, I'd be interested, and can guarantee it'd sell on ebay

I could have sworn it was you that asked for that model but it could have been one of the many others that got one of my gunblade kits, the two seemed to go hand in hand. I would get an email asking about the gunblade and then always a request for this gun. I started it easily a year ago but never finished it. The resin kit will be working, as in you can break it down and it goes together like a model (not just static like the gunblade was)

if you'd be willing to paint it and assembl it for me, I'd be interested. I have no equipment nor experience assmbling kits, and my last experience asking somebody I knew who did didn't work out so well. But what do you think you'd be asking for it?

mm, with the cross I worry about the final product. It's such a large peice, I worry about it's strength, and it's functunality. Plus, I'm moving into my first apartment soon, and dispoasable income is going to disappear fast. Taking all that into account, I'd personally prefer the gun

Good for you on the apartment. Moving in with your g/f? or solo?
The cross will be heavy when completed but sturdy. It would be a display piece only not dragging it around to conventions.
