Batman Begins Need Help Finding Some Photos

Who said I found the pics and got them for free on the internet?
I guess sites are forbidden to have exclusive stuff now...

Well... honestly, if you paid for them, that's a little silly too. Unless they were some exclusive production stills that Nolan himself had hid away, you got ripped off.

One nice thing I have to say about all this...

Neil Young's "Old Man" is a great song.

Judging from the picture in the original post, there's certainly a number of shots I haven't seen before.

However, I find the attitude that one's photo collection is only as good as the monetary price they paid for it to be a bit self-defeating. Pictures were made to be shared. Then again, I am a bit of a hypocrite - I own a massive amount of footage and photos from TDK (which I plan to use for a preservation project in the future) that I feel very hesitant to mention to others, simply because I don't want to get hounded by requests for video clips.

Hell, had I known someone was paying for exclusive pictures, I would have kicked in a few dollars to get them released online.

Unless I'm missing something, I've never seen the thumbnails of the Demon Batman production art, and there are several other images (the photoshoots for Ra's/Scarecrow, lots of production shots) that have never been released from my knowledge.

To be honest, I'd be willing to pay for some of the pics. I know there is a website that's name eludes me at the moment, and they have tons of still, photos, from all sorts of movies. I've bought 'credits' to download some of the pics on occasion.

At least we had kinder posters in the Batman 1989 thread that shared a few rare photos from their collections.

Kinder after 23 years...

Which makes them even more generous because they go through the trouble of scanning these lost fossils (that could go for a lot more money) just to share with us. Not that you're required to be as generous but it sounds a lot better than telling people that they "don't know when to ****".

My candy.... it's all mine! I gonna make it clear that they're mine and that I don't wanna share wit you cuz they're all mine!

I have every single picture that Bane has (and then some) and I didn't pay a damn thing for them. If you followed the film from 2003 on, there were plenty of goodies to be had, they're not really anyone's to hoard.

I probably shouldn't do this, I was hoping Bane would be the "hero" here and do a nice thing (you'd get a ton of kudos bro, plus you could also watermark them subtlety without ruining the integrity of the photo so folks would know they were yours) but I'll give you guys a little taste. I just hope it doesn't go unappreciated. Please don't bug me for more, it'll come. A certain member already got a second one from this set.

Wow, thats awesome..thanks so much!!! I just really, really enjoyed Batman Begins and while tdk had had soo many press stills and promos released, the begins was largely ignored. Again, thanks so much!

Great photo man. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more.

Very nice way to screw Bobby Causey, now WB will go after him. If you have every single pic I have why not post them?FYI, all the pics I have are without markings.

Three cheers for helloiamben a decent human being in an indecent time!

Hip-Hip, Hooray!
Hip-Hip, Hooray!
Hip-Hip, Hooray!

Meanwhile, some people continue to act like royal *****e-bags as their precious strangle-hold on photographs becomes eroded by point-one-percent.

And how exactly is it going to screw Bob Causey?

At least he's contributing. I think the question is why don't you post anything, instead of making the typical "they're all mine, you don't get any" responses? FYI adding a watermark is easier than making sculpts in ZBrush.

Because those are Bob's pics and whoever he sent those asked to keep them for themselfs, the WB watermarks are there for a reason.
The other pic he's talking about is this one, he doesn't have anymore from this set.

What does Zbrush have to do with anything?

I guess it's such a big top secret if the poster found the image on the world wide web, right? But hey you're also posting a picture of the suit so I guess it doesn't make you any better. But thanks for contributing.

WB isn't going to go after him for 6-7 year old pictures, trust me. Plus, did it ever occur to you that Bobby C. shared these with others? That's exactly how I obtained a few of these.

Someone needed reference for a piece they were doing and Bobby was nice enough to share. This wasn't in private, it was posting on a message board.

There are a slew of helpful folks out there that have obtained these type of things.

Like I said in a previous post, if you look hard enough simply using google you can find a great deal of photos online. Hell, even a long search in Superherohype's post archive will get you some goodies (if the photosharing links haven't expired that is).

I have 5 others of this TIG Demon Batman some with watermarks, some without (though they all have WBs).

Bane, I see your point of view but nobody is "entitled" to these pics. You're an artist and I'm sure in your experience you've used plenty of reference. As long as they're subtlety watermarked (and I'm not talking about watermarking to the point of not being able to recognize or utilize the photo), I see no problem with it. I'm POSITIVE Warner Bros doesn't mind either. Now if this was 2004, 2005 or even 2006 I'm sure they might.

Are you familiar with Anita? All those fantastic TDK photos she had to share? What about Reeve or PJ and their Burton Batman photos. They just didn't hang on to them and keep them for themselves.

I'm not sure what happened but I remember you sharing a ton of great pics in the past years ago when it came to rare Batman pics (I seem to recall you posting Batman Begins artist merchandising for the film, that REALLY helped me out). But now? What happened?

I've shared more than enough BB pics since 2004, who stopped these users from collecting?Am I supposed to share every pic I have because of a few users?
And ALL of my pics will be online when ChrisB decides to update his site's gallery.
I've contacted both David james and Peter Tangen to sell me some photos and they're still under contract with WB and these pics are forbidden for releasing.
Ok, post these TIG photos, I highly doubt you have more, because you would have posted them already.I thought WB didn't mind no more?
I'm fammiliar with all of them(although you're mistaking Anita with Andre@s), are you familliar that they have thousands more of them?
The photos I posted in my signature were for collectors like me, who may wanna exchange, not people who are gonna sell them on ebay.

Well... if anybody's interested, I've got a 752mb download link that's full of pretty much every still released (from TDK), BTS pics, etc.

I'm sure I found it here when I was doing some random searching, so I'll post it here if anybody's interested. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E7AU39PK

It'd be greatly appreciated if somebody could post a link for something similar for Batman Begins, or point me to a website that offers something like that.

All I can say is thanks for posting the pics. I'm not looking for every photo taken, although I'd love to see more Scarecrow/crane pics sometime. The promo begins pics were really cool and helped alot as a study reference for sculpting etc.

I downloaded it and damn, that's quite of a collection. That's pretty generous of you to share all of those pictures with us. Major kudos to you. Thanks man.

OK, I wasn't going to do this for a few different reasons, not the least of which is I doubt he'll want to answer any questions from me at this point after the ribbing I've been giving him in this thread, but, here goes anyway...

bane, if the primary reason you are unwilling to release the larger resolution versions of these images in your collection is that you are concerned for the legal welfare of individuals who provided them, then why not just state such as your reason? Thought debatable, it's certainly a hell of a lot less snobbish and pretentious of a reason to be unwilling to share such things with your fellow fans than ANY/ALL of the other reasons you've offered.

Likewise, have to point out; by hosting that big photo of all the thumbnails as you did before this topic and before people like myself started giving you some flack for it, weren't you posing some degree of the same legal risk by announcing to the internet that you where in possession of such images that you're now concerned over people having at all because their possession of such poses some sort of legal risk to the original photo owners? IE, if no one else is supposed to have them but the original owners due to WB legalities... didn't YOU let that cat out of the bag first and foremost????

To the people who are sharing: I applaud you. I've got a good collection too, though I'm not sure if it's quite up to snuff to the rest of these. But I've decided I'll be zipping and uploading my own collections to share with everyone in light of this thread. I doubt you'll find much of anything special in them comparatively, but it's the right thing to do. If everyone shares what they've got... well, proliferation and all that. :)
