This is a thread for the people who complained about the first film and who plan on complaining about the sequel. If you liked the first film and feel guilty about it and want to complain about the sequel to make up for it....this thread is also for you. Your logic fails. How much sense does it make for a person to complain about a sequel to a film that they have never seen? That's not valid criticism; it's laughable ignorance. I can't even believe you people actually make single lounge-like threads for the sole purpose of praising or complaining. What happened to just voicing an opinion in any of the other threads, without basically either kissing ass or moaning and groaning?

Hunter or any of the other Transformers mods ought to close both of the threads, and force y'all to co-exist and be mature when it comes down to opinions. If you can't do that, then pay the price of just getting banned and be immature on another forum.

This post doesn't belong here....you should make a seperate thread discussion on whether or not my logic has or hasn't failed....come to think of it...yeah I guess we should make two, one for and one against my logic.

I am not a Transformers movie sir, and this is a thread for complaints about the sequel to Transformers...so you can't complain about me. Anyways, shouldn't you be asking the threadstarter these questions since they opened a thread for negative and positive remarks about a movie just now starting production? Don't shoot the messenger...I'm just trying to help keep the peace.

I'll answer your question. It makes just as much sense for someone to complain about a sequel to a movie the've never seen, as it does for someone to complain about any movie. The point isn't wether it makes sense that they complain or not, the point of the thread is for those who have problems with this movie, to voice them. Does that help?

Your logic fails? How is it any different from people bashing a film prior to release of teaser, trailer, and actual film? Just bashing a movie based on the simple knowledge of knowing it will exist and knowing certain Hollywood directors/producers/film studio/effects studio is/are attached?

It's about having a bad track record, if the same people behind the first trainwreck of a movie are back for the second, then that's one strike already against the movie. And any info released prior to the movie either real or fabricated by Bay's misinformation team is fair game as well.


Threads like this are usually put up as a firebreak to stop flame wars from breaking out in other threads, although the effectiveness of these types of threads is questionable.

I was a Transformer fan before the first movie came out and I'll be one after the second comes out, and being a fan I will still go and see the new movie, just by the off chance it may turn out to be good (which I doubt).

Actually, I think Warhammer is the one making trouble. He needs to understand that fanboys bashing a film with very little knowledge is simply what they do. It really doesn't need to make sense, it just is.
