What got him banned at last?

I'm not sure exactly what the exact circumstances of his banning entailed, but it seems it started in the TDKR boards.

He went crazy in the Anne Hathaway thread, saying how he didn't think Anne Hathaway was sexy as Catwoman. After constant back and forth with other posters, someone suspected that he was another poster under a new username, which he of course denied (there's evidence to the contrary, of course)*. He then accused posters of blindly worshiping Nolan's films. When accused of seeking attention and being a troll, he then played the victim card by saying he was a passionate fan like everyone else. I don't know what happened after that.

*(As a matter of fact, in a past post, he even admitted to being banned from multiple outside forums for his abrasive and trollish behavior.)

You can guess the rest.

love it

I smell a Elysium/Oblivion/Book of Eli crossover film! :o

Is that Copley on the right?

I'm convinced this is going to be the best all around movie of the summer. I literally can't wait for this.

Just rewatched District 9 – even more excellent than I remembered. Stellar cinematography and effects. Amazing detail. An intimate and heartfelt story with thrilling sci-fi aspects and sequences.

In turn I'm – if possible – even more excited for Elysium now.

D9 is one of my favourite movies ever, superb film, so I cant wait to see what Blomkamp gives us next, the trailer for Elysium actually didnt wow me like it others, but I am still excited for the movie as I think Blomkamp is a talent.

Very nice. Damon looks pretty grizzled.

Calling Elysium "This Year's Avatar" is quite strange. If it resembles any successful sci fi film from 2009...it'd be District 9 for more than just the obvious reasons.

Yeah that's an odd choice. I can't wait for this film. Looking forward to a new trailer, but I just hope they don't give away all the best stuff in trailers and tv spots.

It's called talking to the average person, who has a pretty limited reference pool.

District 9 was fairly successful. Even going for the lowest common denominator, there are better films to compare it to.

The average person doesn't read Total Film.

I just realised that next month we are having a film festival here in South Africa (Durban International Film Festival) and I think there might be a good chance that Niell might screen Elysium here too, since he screened District 9 a few at the same film festival a few months before it was released.

Man Damon got ripped for this, I'm assuming Copley did as well

elysium floating in space? isnt this a spoiler from the third act?
