For $60 I'm all over this thing. Love that Nintendo is doing this. I wish more companies would. Of course a SNES and N64 one would be great, but I'd love it if Sony did one for the PSone, or Sega did one for the Dreamcast. Now that'd be dope.

I wonder how hard these will be to come by this holiday season? I'm thinking they're gonna sellout like crazy.

I believe it is coming out 11/11. So, just in time for Christmas. I guess Nintendo won't have such a horrible holiday afterall.

Now, to wait for the SNES version....

Great news. But does this mean the other games will be available separately or will this new version of the console only ever play those 30 games?

It will only play these 30 games. It's like those cheap imitations that you can find in stores. The benefit this has is it has Nintendo quality behind it.

I would not be shocked to see a NES 2, with 30 different games.

It's better than nothing i guess. It pretty much has all the classics, though i wish they also had included Castlevania III. I second those that are hoping something like this will be made for the SNES.

A SNES one would make me excited only if they had some third party stuff. That's a must.

They've never really had an issue getting third party stuff for the Virtual Console, though. I mean, they did have the Super Star Wars games on the Wii VC.

Very awesome. If this is successful enough I'm hoping they do one for SNES with ALttP, F-Zero, Star Fox, etc. And I have all these games but two, I'll still be getting this. It's interesting the control ports aren't the original. I hope the controllers will be just as good.
