Netflix’s Blood Red Sky

Okay, I'm hooked!

Subtitle should be Stakes on a Plane
:yay:

Really interesting twist and visually cool.
And here i thought the setting has reached its peak long ago, but this looks really intense.

Just watched the film, and for the most part, I really enjoyed it! The highlights of the film were the lead actress, who was quite good, makeup and prosthetic, the score and atmosphere were also very solid.

Cons: There were a few too many flashbacks, the CGI effects were subpar, the son was a bit irritating as the film went on, not enough Dominic Purcell or Graham McTavish, and it took awhile for the film to get interesting.

7/10

American remake in 3..2..1

It wasn't terrible but could have been much tighter. Would have liked it more if she had to be more stealthy about it even though it's all close quarters. Maybe a little too long and the flash backs didn't add anything

6/10

I also ended up enjoying this mostly because it was a nice spin on the vampire genre, but damn did it feel way too long and those flashbacks were definitely unecessary.

The practical gore effects and the performances were pretty solid though, but more Domic Purcell would have been nice and I also think a certain character's death was nowhere near as satisfying is it could have been IMO.

...all this time I thought that was Noomi Rapace in the teaser :ninja:.

That's the name is was looking for! Absolutely true and I thought the same, as well.

And for just a second, I thought it was Patricia Arquette.

I caught this yesterday because Hideo Kojima(for those who don’t know who that is he’s a game director who created Metal Gear Solid) recommended it on twitter and I found it to be pretty enjoyable as a horror thriller thing. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but I thought it was a fairly good way to kill some time, and boy is there a lot of killing in this movie. 7.5/10

I didn’t enjoy this sadly. I think the concept is great but it was a drag to sit through. The pacing was a little weird especially with the unnecessary flashbacks which added absolutely nothing. The altercations between Nadja and the terrorists were very drab and very awkwardly choreographed. Also, other than Nadja and Farid, most of the passenger on the plane were pretty annoying and unlikeable. And that one psycho highjacker was just way too much. He needed to be toned down a lot IMO.

WAtched it tonight, enjoyed it but nothing special, really good practical effects and the lead actress was good. But they dropped the ball on a few things, namely a certain characters death.

6/10.
