The Last Starfighter (remake)

So...I thought the movie aged "OK". The effects were bad...real bad. And even a lot of the diolague was cringe worthy...but the basic premise, story and characters themselves were all entertaining.

I say it's time for a REMAKE!

I think it could do well. Certainly with the lack of cheese it could be a solid action/adventure flick.

I saw it, it was terrible...but I've always had a soft spot for the movie, in an 80s/Star Wars/ET knockoff kind of way.
