It's the same in Nightmare too.

The AI for the predator campaign seems more responsive, as soon as you target one of the human AI they fire. Moving close with cloak alerts them and they will generally spray fire afterwords even after re-cloaking. I think the cloak can be used far too willy-nilly not draining power, the shoulder cannon is too weak and the spear is over-powered, the AI tends to stand still a lot making no required effort to pick them off.

Good news on possible DLC and a sequel. Im having more fun with the multi player then i ever did in say Modern Warfare 2. Everything about it is better. The community is far less annoying and modders/hackers havent completely ruined the game...yet.

Hopefully there will be more DLC than just the maps that came with the collectors edition.

Hah, how is the plasma caster too weak? If you get a charged shot off it damn explodes your target?

Even charging it half way up it can take two or three shots to kill a marine depleting energy after a few shots. When you pick up a spear that can 1 hit kill marines\fear soldiers with no cost and no giving the players position away until it's actually thrown, what's the point? Against Aliens the hand-disk is generally seems more viable. Later on in the game I had no use at all for it, there's plenty of power-chargers every 3 feet but with the other weapons, pointless, there's auto-aim targeting I suppose but the aliens move incredibly slow.

Most players controlling xenos online dont move too slow. Hitting them with the spear is quite difficult. The only time iv had good success with the spear is when the Marines camp in that one room in Refinery. It has the 2 walkways leading up to the upper parts of the level, with the power node in the center. Ill get the spear and line up a perfect shot before they even figure out where i was. I get most of my kills with the Plasma Caster, but i do think it fires a little to slow.

Haha yea i hate those little bastards. Every time i saw an egg i made sure to blast it.

I only played the marine and alien campaigns once. I did complete the Predator campaign on all difficulties tho. Iv jumped back into the mp and am waiting on those new maps to drop, which i thought was supposed to be yesterday.

The old AvP games made me always jump and I was pretty nervous the entire game. But not this time. I got spooked a few times when I played the Campaign for the first time, but the 2nd time wasn't scary in the least. Alien and Facehugger appearance are scripted, you're able to block counter Aliens and Facehuggers aren't instant death anymore.

This game got ok reviews. But I'm telling you, it is one of those weird gems that is actually amazing inspite of the fact it got a bunch of 6/10 and 7/10 reviews. Don't believe me? Watch...

I own it, and its ok. The campaign was alotta fun. Playing as all three species was a cool concept. But the online multiplayer really dissapointed me. The predator is down right unstoppable at times. The alien is pretty cool to use though, definitely my fav online. The human is ok if you know what your doing. But i still can believe that you cant zoom in with his gun ( i mean really? wtf)

I wish the Aliens Gearbox game had gotten off the ground but that's looking unlikely these days.

Yea the 3 campaigns are atrocious. The MP was the clear focus here. Im a big fan of the multi player. It takes skill to be good in this game, unlike say Call of Duty.

I don't think anyone plays this. It's a really old game for ranked online matches.
