New Aliens vs Predator

What happened to maiorities and most votes winning something?

Unanimous consent is just wishing that nothing pretty much ever gets done.

Cool. Guess it doesn't mean much for anyone who doesn't game on PC.
If (big IF), the rumors are true that the 360 will have an update this year, where, among more CPU and CGU, it will have directX 11, than it only doesn´t mean much for PS3 owners.

On other news, i don´t give a lot for this game, there is 60% of it being a piece of crap, Rebellion is known for making horrible games more times than not (Shellshock 2, Rogue Warrior,....).
I hope it´s great, i´m all for being happly surprised, but...don´t hold your breath

Oh man they made Rogue Warrior? Well thats hope that AvP is the one thing they know how to do well.

Yeah, I'm still cautious about this game. I think I'll just wait for reviews, to decide if to get it or not.

Can't really wait to play as the Predator, it's definitely one of my most anticipated games of 2010. :awesome:

Online multiplayer mode "Team Deathmatch" should be very fun since I got addicted to "Team Deathmatch" in GTA IV.

Aliens vs Predator: The Fancy Edition

Aliens vs Predator has a collector's edition. This is it! No wearable blood-soaked Predator wrist-guards or Vasquez bandanas here, though; it's all relatively tasteful.

While announced earlier in the month for Europe, it's only today been cleared for an American release. Called the "Hunter Edition", it includes a facehugger model, four multiplayer maps, a "3d lenticular postcard", Weyland Yutani patch and a hardcover copy of the original AvP comic that kicked off the whole franchise.

Not bad. Not bad.

It'll also be available in Europe (and Australia), though in the old world it'll ship without the comic.

No word on price.

If this games game engine & mechanics work as well as say COD4, WaW or MW2...but with Predators & Aliens this game will be epically good fun.

I love the sound of the Predator mode, it will be fun on both sides I think. It will be fun to be looking for something that is hard to see as a Marine & it will be good to try & stealth kill the entier marine team.

I eagerly await this one

Looks like the game is coming out in Australia after all.

AU: Aliens vs. Predator Ban Overturned
The Australian Classification Board changes its mind.
by IGN Staff

Australia, December 17, 2009 - SEGA Australia today confirmed that Aliens vs. Predator will be seeing an Australian release, as the Australian Classification Review Board has overturned the original decision to Refuse Classification for the game and has given it an MA15+ rating. With no cuts made.

"It is with great pleasure that we announce the success of our appeal," commented Darren Macbeth, Managing Director, SEGA Australia. "We are particularly proud that the game will be released in its original entirety, with no content altered or removed whatsoever. This is a big win for Australian gamers. We applaud the Classification Review Board on making a decision that clearly considers the context of the game, and is in line with the modern expectations of reasonable Australians."
