You know though, I hear that more quoted than any horror film of the past few years, good or ill lol
They really bungled the **** out of Kills. I was so pumped to see the original movie’s supporting cast back in the mix. Then they all did dumb **** for the entire movie and were killed unceremoniously.

Which, granted, is pretty true to the slasher subgenre, but still.![]()
I do like how these posters are evocative of the very first teaser trailer for The Exorcist, the one with the flashing images.
I guess I'm the only one, but I like every film in the Halloween trilogy. Halloween (2018) is clearly the best one and it has the only cohesive screenplay out of the three. Kills is almost like a milder, more stylish Terrifier film. It's all about the kills and the weird humor. I have a soft spot for it also because of Kyle Richards. She's my favorite Real Housewife AND a horror icon, so I couldn't possibly find her coolerHer role in Ends is so diminished, it's hard to consider that a pro. Ends overall is an unbelievably messy film and many questionable choices were made, but I find the odd emo romanticism really entertaining, not to mention all the fun kills. It's a deeply flawed trilogy, but I'd argue they are all more watchable than some of the more questionable Halloween sequels of yore.
I do hope we get 2018 Gordon Greene with this film. The Exorcist is a perfect horror film, but it's also completely enjoyable as a drama. I don't know if DGG can do that.
I saw this ahead of Oppenheimer like others did, and it looks pretty good honestly. I hope Linda Blair also makes an appearance.
