How much did the old DVDs cost?

The ones from Rhino were, if I'm remembering right, $35-40 bucks each and each season was split into various volumes that over time became impossible to find. You can still find these on amazon but be prepared to pay out the ass for some of them.

So, wait, $35-40 for only part of a full season?! That's some ********. This new DVD is a great deal.

And the TF fans that wouldn't fork up the cash for the previous release like myself. This is definitely a buy for me. Been really wanting to pick these up sense I picked up Beast Wars and Beast Machines.

Yes you paid a lot for the Rino ones but the covers will silver and almost metal like thats where the extra money went.. I bet the new rereleases will be in just plastic crap... Not just that but they came with animated cells and cards...

Looks like the complete series will be out this year (Box Set) along with the seasons individually -- with sound and video errors corrected (IE. Added sound effects added by Rhino Set TAKEN OUT) ....Also GI series will be complete too (side note)
