New Game “Knock-out” Being Played “For Fun” in New Jersey

Ya I saw somebody on Facebook posting about this. Kids these days are really just getting stupider by the year. When I'm an old man I'm sure those kids will play even dumber games

Looking at the site, some of their articles are of... dubious status. Or I guess I should say, sensationalized. Most appear to be true with the "but..." caveat they aren't always as up front or accurate as they appear.

Well the site simply embedded a television news report from CBS New Jersey...

And the report investigates kids cold cocking random strangers...for fun...complete with several videos of evidence.

Sensationalized? Maybe. But take this report as you will.

It definitely sounds and looks sensationalized to me. CBS wouldn't be the first or even close to last network to exaggerate something that may have happened into a trend.

The news will take **** (sometimes literally) and run with it. Anyone remember "Jenkem"? Warning: incredibly nasty but still safe for work.

Can I play? Someone just direct me at some other players.

Wonder if that GTA 5 video inspired it.

Do you understand there was a trend where kids would choke one another until they passed out and caused deaths as well? I wouldn't jump on the "the news is sensationalizing a random act!" bandwagon so fast.

I do not look forward to becoming an elderly Asian man in this society. It will be open season on me when I turn 60.

That one I also heard about and also was exaggerated. There was no widespread "Choke 'em unconcious" trend despite media claims. It happened but it doesn't constitute a regular occurence or trend.

I want to see video of one of these kids trying to sneak up on an MMA fighter or something and the tables are turned. I REALLY wanna see that one

Yea, all fun and games until you get shot: [YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzptOuQ0M9U[/YT]

Never heard of Jenkem before but I'm not surprised it's from human waste, hallucinogetic mushrooms tend to grow on cow ****.

In NJ but haven't seen anything yet. The only real news has been some dope that shot himself in a local mall.

Holeeeee......!that story about "Batkid" restored my faith in mankind only for this crazy ass %^&* to tear it all down again!! Damn i am still young enough to where i will put some lightning bolts up some kid's butt for trying this with me ( but then i will go to jail for giving them the spanking obviously their parents didnt!) but yeah! i dread turning into a old man walking to get my prune juice at the store with crazy ^% like this around!
when that happens i need to go Sweden! hahaha:cwink:

That will never happen, because these little boys are cowards. They prey mostly on the old and or people they perceive to be weak. Assaulting someone completely by surprise is not a big enough advantage for these true tough guys, they're not going to take any chances.

I knew some guys in HS who used to do this. I don't know what is about young boys and the satisfaction of saying, 'I knocked him the **** out', but this isn't limited to Jersey by any means.

le sigh...I didn't get it then and still don't get it now.
