I think all of the Operation Slipknot packages were sent via FedEx. Mine was. Also, this looks like a simple package for website or movie reviewers. Meaning those that don't play the ARG. I don't think us Joker phone holders will get this package. It was received today because they didn't want them receiving it yesterday and it can't be shipped over the weekend.

yeah, but 12 cities, that's the gist of it. and only 8 american cities... that doesn't seem like a really broad thing, unless... of course, with the original game, they move from screen to screen, adding more cities.

12 cities across the nation and the world is probably just enough to catch almost any winner of a phone. The small number could mean it's just more than a trailer. We might be getting complete advanced screenings of the movie and they don't want to risk putting it on more than a few screens. Home players might just be getting the trailer. Think of it like the preview at San Diego Comic Con.

From what I'm gathering, the whole event goes down on Monday. I don't see them sending out Joker cards to anybody before then. If the Joker is required to play the outside game, then I'm sure they have plans for those to play at home. Unfortunately, I don't see them giving the at home players everything the guys get. If they did, then what would be the point to participate on the ground?

The reason why this guy got a package is pretty clear. With the package he can give details about his experience to his visitors. I wouldn't be surprised if other sites got packages too and we just haven't heard about them yet. The reason why he got it today was because the event is on Monday and they probably figured he needed an advance notice to prepare for it. Plus packages are not shipped on Saturday and Sunday.

ROFL , and I mean I am really laughing my ass off. If I had ANYONE of you guys addresses I would send you a package just like this with a letter that read something like "Tomorrow at 10:00 go into the local bank wearing this mask, and go to the first teller on the right. Ask the Teller if they have a package for Robin Banks"

I think you're on to something there, and you may be right about the ground-players getting a movie screening/something extra although New york isn't on the list of cities and it's odd to screen a movie and leave NYC off the list.

egh i hate the fact that i can't even play ground-wise, i really wish they'd do something in Vancouver
but oh well..

I never thought of that either, possibly a mask and card somewhere in Toronto or the other 11 cities and need to find it.. Alright i'm down again.

Meh, I don't think that last scenario is likely. If it is, it'd explain the bad picture of the note, but otherwise things look legit, and they fit in to what we've found in the last two days. So either the pranksters worked hard to make it tie into what we've found and spend some time making that package, or it's legit.
